Two ceremonial groundbreaking events are set for Oregon City's new middle school buildings, Gardiner Middle School and Ogden Middle School

COURTESY: OREGON CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS - Two ceremonial groundbreaking events are planned this spring. The first will be for the new Gardiner Middle School (right) and the second will be for Ogden Middle School (left)The final designs are in, and to celebrate, there will be two groundbreaking events for Oregon City's two new middle schools.

Both Gardiner Middle School and Ogden Middle School are scheduled to be completed by September, 2021.

"There has been so much great work and intentional planning to get to this point," said Michael Sweeten, Gardiner Middle School Principal. "The new middle school is going to be a transformational space for our students and the entire community."

The two ceremonial groundbreaking events are open to the public, with the first coming up on March 11. At both events, floorplans, additional renderings and project team members will be available.


Gardiner Middle School Groundbreaking

Ogden Middle School Groundbreaking

WHEN: April 23, 5 p.m.

WHERE: 14133 S. Donovan Rd., Oregon City
