Portland Landscape Architecture and Design Tour: It's on
The Portland Landscape Architecture + Design Tour will go ahead, despite expected rain, on Saturday Sept. 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The public can tour stylish and well-designed back yards in the Portland area on Saturday. Details of the locations were released Friday online. The tour comes from the Portland Modern Home Tour creators, which this year is virtual because of COVID-19 and the danger of strangers crowding together in homes.
The owners might not be home, but the architects and landscape designers usually are there to answer questions. MADS, the organizers, say, "The Portland Landscape Architecture + Design Tour is your chance to visit some of the area's fantastic private outdoor spaces, meet the builders and designers that created them, and ask a question or two about your own dream backyard project."
