Washington County wants the public to weigh in on a road improvement project on Southwest Kinnaman Road.

The project will build bike lanes, sidewalks and pedestrian crossings between Southwest 198th and 209th avenues. A flashing beacon crosswalk will be installed at the intersection of Southwest 205th Avenue and Stoddard Drive.

The public can comment on three different sidewalk options until Oct. 2. Use the link to be directed to the online open house to weigh in.

Funding for the $3.3 million project is provided through the Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program's bond cost-sharing.

Kinnaman Road is east of South Hillsboro, and it's one of the major thoroughfares in the Aloha area. A stretch of it was improved last year.
