17 coffee shops participate in Washington County Coffee Week
The Washington County Visitors Association is hosting its first-ever Coffee Week, Sept. 23 through Oct. 2.
Tualatin Valley Coffee Week is designed to bring attention to the region's independent coffee shops and roasters.
So far, the association has 17 coffee shops who have agreed to participate in showcasing a special latte or coffee drink during that time.
"We are excited to announce our first Coffee Week with a goal to offer a fun way to invite folks to Washington County to discover the variety and sophistication of our roasteries and coffee shops," said Dave Parulo, president and chief executive officer of the Washington County Visitors Association.
Drinks range from an Aztec Coffee Yum at Insomnia's Beaverton, Hillsboro and Cedar Mill locations to a Mexican Mocha at BJ's Coffee Co. in Forest Grove.
Coffee-drinkers are then asked to vote for favorite drinks, automatically entering them to win gift cards to the winning location.
Additional prizes will be awarded to people who submit photos on Instagram using the hashtag #tvcoffeeweek2022, and by tagging @tualatinvalley and the coffee shop's Instagram.
Three winners will be randomly selected to win a $50, $25 or $10 gift card.
