Sunday farmers market returns to Lake Oswego
Those who will miss the Saturday farmers market — which concludes Oct. 1 — don't have to wait long to peruse fresh produce and eat hot food while outdoors in Lake Oswego.
The city of Lake Oswego's Lake Grove Farmers Market kicks off at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, and will run every Sunday through Nov. 27 on Hallmark Drive.
"This market is a little bit smaller, and we are keeping a focus on food and agricultural products only," said Emily Liu, the city's farmers market manager.
Some vendors include Roundhouse Foods, which specializes in hummus spreads as well as tortilla and pita chips, Raw Oregon Honey, Alchemy Sandwiches, Central Oregon Wagyu, Straightaway Cocktails, Freeland Spirits, Kelly's Jelly and more. Liu specifically highlighted the alcohol selection that will be on hand.
The farmers market manager suggested people walk to the event if possible, but there also will be parking available at Dischinger Orthodontics, Acme Construction Supply, Lake Grove Elementary School and Summit Orthopedics.
"It will be a fun market to attend, and we appreciate the support from the community so we can keep it going," Liu said.
