Beaverton Farmers Market

Are you ready for nature's greatest show? Yep, fall is here, and if you took a poll, most Portlanders would say Autumn is their favorite season. Get out your favorite sweater and come to the Beaverton Farmers Market where we are celebrating.

For the most part, the produce we associate with Summer — corn, green beans, and tomatoes, is still available. But they will be for sale alongside winter

squashes such as butternut and Delicata, that are just now starting to show up in growers stalls.

The vendors who are especially fond of Fall are those who make things we love to eat when it gets cold like Souper Natural Soups and Queen Chili. Souper Natural offers a variety of soups like Mexican Street Corn or Moroccan Vegetable while Queen Chili makes different chilis including plant-based or lamb chili.

Customers are excited to fire up their stoves and ovens which have been ignored during the summer heat. Our meat vendors will see customers moving away from cuts that people were buying for the grill to cuts made for braising and stewing. Stop by Lonely Lane Farms where Mike will help you choose the perfect cut for your meal.

Fresh apple cider will be in the market soon followed by seasonal eggnog.

Come to the market on Saturday, Oct. 29 when we will host a children's activity along with a vendor trick-or-treat. It's a great opportunity for kids to give that

Halloween costume a trial run, and to let little ones enjoy Halloween in a fun and safe environment.
