Tom Colett has a healthy lead over opponents Washburn, Wantland and Fife-Adams.

Tom ColettTom Colett is the apparent winner of the four-way race for Beaverton School District's Zone 7 board seat.

As of Wednesday morning, Colett was leading with 45.5 percent of the vote, followed by opponents Matt "A-W" Anthes-Washburn with 24.3 percent, Sheri Wantland with 16.6 percent, and Jen Fife-Adams with 12.8 percent.

"I feel good about what I'm seeing on the screen right now," Colett said from a viewing party Tuesday night at Café Press in Beaverton. "Everybody's really happy. It's looking quite good."

Colett has experience as a legislative aide, and works for the Laborers' International Union of North America.

The other four races for Beaverton School District were uncontested. Incumbents Susan Greenberg, Anne Bryan, Donna Tyner and LeeAnn Larsen will all hold onto their seats.
