Cracker Barrel getting set for debut in Beaverton
The Cracker Barrel restaurant in Beaverton will open to the public at 6 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26.
This is the second Cracker Barrel in Oregon, following last year's opening in Tualatin. The company is based out of Tennessee. Prior to last year, the closest Cracker Barrel to the Portland area was in Nampa, Idaho.
Construction of the Beaverton restaurant began in June at 4050 S.W. 114th Ave., just to the west of the Highway 217 onramp to Southwest Canyon Road.
A spokesperson for the company said they plan to hire more than 175 full- and part-time employees. The restaurant will be large enough for 180 diners.
