Attorney charged with shooting another attorney's office in Beaverton
Beaverton Police detectives arrested Attorney Erik Graeff, 42, and charged him with shooting another attorney's office in Beaverton.
The shooting took place Dec. 21 near Southwest Murray Boulevard and Millikan Way. Police on Dec. 21 located shell casings and bullet strikes on a nearby building. The building was occupied at the time of the shooting but no one was injured.
On Wednesday, Feb. 28, Beaverton Police Detectives and officers from Vancouver Police Department served search warrants in both Vancouver, Wash., and Portland. The warrants were served at Graeff's place of employment and his residence. Detectives seized evidence from the shooting to include two firearms and ammunition.
Graeff is a practicing, licensed attorney in Oregon and Washington. According to police, he allegedly had an ongoing argument with another attorney, which led to the shooting. The shooting location was the other attorney's place of business.
Graeff was arrested and lodged at the Washington County Jail on six counts of unlawful use pf a weapon and one count of reckless endangering.
