The following events were called in to police departments in Beaverton, Tigard and Tualatin.

BEAVERTON POLICE

Monday, April 16

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest 170th Avenue and Oak Street.

• A transient woman was arrested in the Beaverton City Library on charges of disorderly conduct and harassment after she threw a glass jar on the ground and threw an apple that struck a nearby woman in the face.

• Two people reportedly stole computer equipment valued at $698 from a business in the 3000 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

Tuesday, April 17

• A 2005 Dodge Magnum was reported stolen in the 13000 block of Southwest Berthold Street.

• Someone left a wallet in a shopping cart at a business in the 6000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard, and a debit card was used fraudulently later.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of shoplifting alcohol at a business in the 200 block of Northwest Lost Springs Terrace. He was connected with six previous thefts dating back to March 30.

• A 1993 blue/green Ford Ranger was reported stolen in the 14000 block of Southwest Lisa Lane.

• A Hillsboro woman was arrested on charges of possession and use of a stolen vehicle in the 12000 block of Southwest 5th Street. She also was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine.

Wednesday, April 18

• A Portland woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and Horizon Boulevard.

• Graffiti was found on a new fence facing Schiffler Park, in the 1300 block of Southwest Whitworth Court.

• A transient man was arrested at Cedar Hills Crossing after mall security recognized him from an incident last week, when he eluded police. He ran away a second time but was pursued on foot and tackled by a police officer. He faces charges of interfering with a police officer and possession of cocaine, and a warrant from Washington state.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after she almost ran into police investigating a traffic crash at Southwest Denney Road and Bel Aire Drive.

Thursday, April 19

• Two woman, one from Salem and one from Dallas, were arrested on a charge of theft in connection with goods valued at $530 taken from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Canyon Road. They were joined by a man from Salem, who also was arrested. All three had warrants from Marion County, and two of the three provided false information about the warrants.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of possession and use of a stolen motor vehicle ar Southwest Sorrento Road and Carr Street.

• A transient man was arrested after he threatened staff members at Valley Catholic School with physical violence. Charges include harassment and disorderly conduct.

• A Beaverton woman lost $5,000 after she agreed to allow remote access to her computer for a refund for a program no longer available. She thought the call was legitimate because she had used the program. Police interviewed the suspect, who said he took the money — and lives in India.

• A Beaverton resident lost $1,350 after agreeing to sell a guitar on Craigslist, the buyer sent a check for $1,500 to cover the sale price of $150, and asked the victim to wire $1,350 back to Texas. The check was found to be fraudulent.

• Apartments and a city light pole in the 6000 block of Southwest King Boulevard were found spray-painted.

• Several benches at the Murray Scholls Lake were tagged with graffiti.

• A side of Allen Boulevard Baptist Church was spray-painted.

• A lock was broken from a locker at a business in the 1200 block of Northwest Waterhouse Avenue. Two credit cards were stolen and one was used for a fraudulent purchase later.

• Tools valued at $1,000 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 7000 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of fourth-degree assault on his former wife's uncle during an event at Chehalem Elementary School.

• A gray 2013 Nissan Sentra was reported stolen, keys inside the car, at a business in the 12000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of offensive physical contact after he punched his brother and pushed his father to the ground in the 5000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard.

Friday, April 20

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Vendla Park Lane and 170th Avenue.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of theft in connection with goods taken from businesses in the 11000 block of Southwest Canyon Road and Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. He also was charged with criminal mischief for urinating on the floor of the holding cell at the police department.

• A Beaverton man was the victim of a scam after someone claiming to be a technician took control of his computer. The victim sent $10,000 in gift cards to the scammer to unfreeze his computer before the bank advised him it was a fraud.

• A pair of boots was reported stolen when someone broke a vehicle window in the 9000 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue.

• Golf clubs were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 14000 block of Southwest Burlwood Lane.

• A Beaverton woman reported she was the victim of a roommate she met through a Facebook app. Three weeks later the roommate left with his possessions and some of hers — electronics, computer equipment and a mobile phone — valued at $750.

• A Newberg woman was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of controlled substances at Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway and 105th Avenue. She also was charged with tampering with evidence after she diluted her urine and a warrant for a blood draw was issued.

Saturday, April 21

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving, and two charges of recklessly endangering others, at Southwest Lombard Avenue and Broadway Street.

• Someone broke a car window and stole a gray Nike backpack and clothing, valued at $200, in the 15000 block of Southwest Millikan Way.

• Someone broke a car window and stole a black Nike Lacrosse backpack and clothing, valued at $165, in the 3000 block of Southwest 153rd Drive. Police received a report later in the same block of a second vehicle break-in that damaged a tinted window, although nothing was taken.

• Someone broke a car window in the 14000 block of Southwest Millikan Way and stole a box of Nike women's volleyball uniforms, valued at $480, with the team name "Toxic." A pair of Nike green golf pants also was reported stolen.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of theft after he was found with goods valued at more than $500 taken from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• Women's Nike shoes valued at $400 were reported stolen from a business in the 9000 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue.

• A man and a woman, both transients, were arrested on charges of theft in connection with goods valued at $300 taken from a business in the 3000 block of Southwest 117th Avenue. The man also was charged with felony possession of heroin.

• At least four guitars valued at $13,000 were reported stolen from a business, with no sign of forced entry, in the 9000 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue.

Sunday, April 22

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 2000 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard after police were alerted by a gas station attendant.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after police stopped him for speeding at Southwest Canyon Road and Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A bicycle was stolen from a front porch in the 14000 block of Southwest Quail Lane.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of controlled substances in the 13000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with goods valued at $562 taken from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. He ran from the store but an officer found him hiding in the bushes pretending to be asleep.

• The south side of a bridge on Southwest Barrows Road at Mallard Drive was found to be spray-painted.

TIGARD POLICE

Over the last week, the Tigard Police Department responded to the following incidents: Interfering with a Public Safety Officer – 1, Theft – 2, Warrant – 7, DUII – 2, Assault – 1, Drug Offense – 1, Criminal Mischief – 1, MIP – 1 and Burglary – 1

Tuesday April 17

• Someone broke into a car overnight in the 9300 block of Lehmann Street. Unknown if anything was taken but contents were all over the place.

• A business in the 14600 block of 72nd Avenue reported that 40 phones had been fraudulently ordered.

Thursday, April 19

• A Tigard resident reported a fraud charge on his credit card.

• A suspicious person was reported going through a parking lot in the 12200 block of Garden Place checking car doors.

• A resident reported someone trying to break into his car in the 14300 block of 100th Avenue. When spotted, he took off running.

Friday, April 20

• A delivery truck parked in the 11800 block of Pacific Highway was broken into with tools reported missing from it.

• A scam was reported after a victim deposited $3,000 online for a rental home in Tigard when the home wasn't actually for rent.

• A car was reported weaving all over the road along Scholls Ferry Road at Roy Rogers Road. It eventually hit a vehicle in the oncoming lane.

• A counterfeit $100 bill was reportedly used in a Washington Square store.

• A resident in the 11150 block of Greenburg Road reported his residence was broken into Thursday with all his shoes stolen.

Saturday, April 21

• Four juveniles were reported spray-painting a fence at Hills Street and Ash Avenue.

• A purse was taken from a vehicle parked in the 11600 block of Pacific Highway.

• Two vehicles filled with people in a parking lot in the 11700 block of Pacific Highway were reported fighting.

Sunday, April 22

• A vehicle in the 11500 block of Pacific Highway had been broken into earlier that morning.

• An unknown individual used a laundry machine as a toilet in the 11800 block of 91st Avenue. The reporting party also found what they believe was methamphetamine residue in the laundry room.

• Someone stomped in a vehicle's windshield in the 13400 block of Ash Avenue. The reporting party said a bunch of her neighbors' homes and vehicles were "egged" as well.

• A Cook Park visitor found a 2-year-old girl wandering around with no parents and called police.

• A resident in the 7800 block of Dartmouth Street reported a driver side window broken out and found everything in her vehicle missing.

Monday, April 23

• A resident who lives in the 11500 block of 135th Avenue wants police to ask her neighbors to refrain from smoking dope because it is coming through the vents of her residence. The resident asked the neighbor herself but he cussed her out.

• A business in the 11500 block of Hall Boulevard was burglarized over the weekend with electronics and computer equipment taken

TUALATIN POLICE

From April 17-23, Tualatin Police responded to 530 calls for service including 38 traffic crashes and made seven arrests.

Monday, April 16

• Gang graffiti was reported on a fence and mailbox in the 8600 block of Logan Lane.

Tuesday, April 17

• A Tualatin woman was arrested in the 19300 block of 65th Avenue after it was discovered she had an outstanding warrant out for her arrest for endangering the welfare of a minor.

• A woman driving on Nyberg Street was pulled over after being seen driving in an unsafe manner. She was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants, however the actual charge has yet to be determined.

Wednesday, April 17

• An attempt to purchase a dog over the internet turned out to be a scam with the buyer out $885.

• A business in the 17800 block of McEwan Road believe they found a possible transient camp.

Thursday, April 19

• A vehicle stolen out of Seattle was recovered in the 18800 block of Teton Avenue.

• Two young people were cited for being minors in possession of marijuana and smoking marijuana in public.

Friday, April 20

• A resident was arrested in the 8300 block of Mohawk Street and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

• Two individuals were involved in a road rage incident in the 18400 block of Boones Ferry Road.

Saturday, April 21

• Someone damaged a window on a vehicle to gain entry but took nothing inside in the 9300 block of Stono Drive. They then entered another vehicle and stole items.

• A vehicle backed into a stop sign at Ute Street and 134th Terrace.

• A laptop was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 7700 block of Nyberg Street.

• A lottery machine was damaged by an unknown suspect at a business in the 17900 block of McEwan Road.

Monday, April 23

• An Apple iPad and a purse were stolen from a business in the 7100 block of Nyberg Street.
