PAMPLIN MEDIA GROUP: PETER WONG - BG's Food Cartel will be the site of an informal gathering from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, sponsored by Mayor Denny Doyle and the Beaverton City Council. The site is at 4250 S.W. Rose Biggi Way, across from The Beaverton Building/City Hall.Mayor Denny Doyle and Beaverton City Council members invite the public to chat with them and learn about volunteer opportunities and city initiatives.

"What's on Tap with Mayor Doyle" is scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at BG's Food Cartel, 4250 S.W. Rose Biggi Ave.

There is a catch to the tap: A bar is available, but it's no-host.

Light refreshments will be served, and food carts will be open for business. Parking is available in the public garage on Southwest Millikan Way.

Children's activities also will be offered.

"It's great to sit down with neighbors, talk about our great city, and help support your efforts to make a difference in our community," Doyle said.
