The following incidents were reported by police in Beaverton, Tigard and Tualatin.

BEAVERTON

Monday, July 16

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a warrant after he stepped in front of a police car at the northbound on-ramp from Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway to Highway 217.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of failure to perform the duties of a driver when he fled from an injury crash at Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and 153rd Drive.

• A lime-green mountain bicycle was reported stolen when a lock was cut in a storage area in the 14000 block of Southwest Farmington Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of theft after he ate at a restaurant in the 6000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard without paying the $91.60 bill — and then returned to retrieve a mobile phone.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of theft after police found him with goods valued at $590 at a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. An officer happened to be at the store to review a video from another case.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and abusing a venerated object after he wrapped a U.S. flag around the base of a flagpole at the Beaverton Police Department.

Tuesday, July 17

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of theft, forgery and possession of forged instruments in connection with forged checks and credit cards found at a stop at Southwest Canyon Road and 115th Avenue. A Portland woman who was his passenger was arrested on a warrant.

• A Tigard man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and theft after he refused to pay a $238.50 tab and was stopped in the 10000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of theft after an inventory shortage led to the discovery of an employee stealing money from a business in the 16000 block of Northwest Cornell Road. The employee voided transactions of customers who paid cash for merchandise.

• A Portland woman and a transient man were arrested on theft and other charges in connection with goods valued at $400 being taken from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A Specialized S-works bicycle valued at $500 was reported stolen from a metal cage in the 14000 block of Southwest Farmington Road.

• A transient man was arrested on misdemeanor assault and strangulation charges in connection with a 67-year-old in the 13000 block of Southwest Henry Street. He also faced a charge of disorderly conduct after was found wreaking havoc and throwing chairs in a business in the 4100 block of Southwest 117th Avenue.

Wednesday, July 18

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Jenkins Road and 163rd Avenue.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on charges of theft and felony possession of methamphetamine in the 3100 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of first- and second-degree assault, both felonies, and attempting to elude police while driving at Southwest Murray and Teal boulevards.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 11000 block of Southwest Davies Road.

• A Beaverton woman and a transient man were arrested on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle after a domestic disturbance call in the 7500 block of Southwest 165th Avenue. A police dog was used to track the man.

Thursday, July 19

• Tools were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 12000 block of Southwest Beaverdam Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of misdemeanor assault and strangulation and unlawful possession of drugs (hallucinogens) after a domestic disturbance call in the 10000 block of Southwest Allen Boulevard.

• A mobile phone valued at $500 was reported stolen at a business in the 4100 block of Southwest 117th Avenue.

• A bicycle was reported stolen from a garage in the 11000 block of Southwest Davies Road.

Friday, July 20

• A transient man was arrested at the Beaverton Transit Center on a charge of interfering with public transportation after TriMet employees failed to wake him on a MAX train and he was unable to show proof of fare payment.

• A man's wedding band, with three diamonds but no engraving, was reported found near Southwest Allen Boulevard and 107th Avenue.

• Two men from Las Vegas, Nev., were arrested on charges of aggravated identity theft at a stop in the 12000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

Saturday, July 21

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving on Sunset Highway westbound east of Southwest 185th Avenue. The driver told police he had also smoked marijuana prior to driving.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Jenkins Road and Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of controlled substances and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. His passenger also was arrested on charges of drug possession, one of which was a felony. The stop occurred at Southwest Broadway Street and Lombard Avenue.

• A transient man was arrested at the Beaverton Transit Center on a charge of reckless burning after he used a trash can to light a fire.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Farmington Road and Watson Avenue after he ran a red light in front of police.

• A bicycle was reported stolen in the 4100 block of Southwest Hocken Avenue.

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of burglary, unlawful entry into a vehicle, and criminal trespass after he fled into the 14000 block of Northwest Greenbrier Parkway and police saw him trying to get into a house where a resident was on the phone reporting a burglary.

• A Glock 19 handgun was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 5400 block of Southwest Alger Avenue.

Sunday, July 22

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving, after two previous convictions, at Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and Cascade Avenue.

• A pit bull bit the tricep of a police officer investigating a domestic disturbance in the 5400 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard.

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of drunken driving, unauthorized use of and possession of a stolen vehicle after he sped on Southwest Canyon Road near Cedar Hills Boulevard. He did a U-turn on Cedar Hills Boulevard near Dawson Way, where police blocked him.

• Tools and other items valued at $900 were reported stolen from a garage in the 14000 block of Southwest Scholls Ferry Road.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of interfering with public transportation and disorderly conduct after he entered a TriMet bus at the Beaverton Transit Center and attempted to start it. When he failed, police said, he cursed and yelled while pacing the platform.

• A laptop computer valued at $1,000 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 13000 block of Southwest Meridian Street.

• A utility trailer was reported stolen while being parked in the 7900 block of Southwest Nimbus Avenue.

• Cannabis-laced candy valued at $2,000, Kershaw knives and other items were reported stolen from a garage in the 11000 block of Southwest Teal Boulevard.

• A Hillsboro woman was arrested on charges of identity theft, theft and felony possession of methamphetamine at Southwest 170th Avenue and West Baseline Road. Police said they recovered laptop computers reported to Portland police as stolen.

• Two women reportedly stole a wallet from a shopper in the 3400 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard, then attempted to buy gift cards at another business.

Monday, July 23

• A mobile phone valued at $650 was reported stolen from a restroom at a business in the 8600 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• Cash estimated at $1,000 and collectible sports cards were reported stolen from a home in the 11000 block of Southwest Bruce Drive. The owner told police that someone kicked in the interior garage door and the bedroom door.

• A car trailer was reported stolen from a lot in the 14000 block of Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway.

• A Portland woman was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine that turned up during a search in the 12000 block of Southwest Broadway Street. A charge of criminal mischief was added when she damaged a door and window of the police car taking her to Washington County Jail.

Tuesday, July 17

• A resident in the 12900 block of 129th Avenue had been yelling, screaming and banging pots and pans together much of the early morning.

• Someone called to report an assault at a bottle drop in the 14400 block of Pacific Highway with a victim having scratches.

Wednesday, July 18

• A man in the 7500 block of Hunziker Road was reported running around naked with a knife with A reporting party saying there might be a fire in his apartment since the man is now carrying a fire extinguisher and smoke detectors are going off.

• A resident reported a suspicious person in the 17000 block of 92nd Avenue shooting something into his arm.

• A theft was reported at Washington Square with the suspect throwing merchandize at the clerk when confronted.

• Someone reported that there's an ongoing issue with neighbors harassing people who park in an area near Stratford Loop and 88th Avenue. She said she found a sticky, smelly substance under her car door handles the night before.

• A resident in the 12600 block of Springwood Drive reported her purse was stolen out of her car parked inside the garage. The garage door was open about a foot when the incident happened. The resident also reported it look like the person who entered the garage also left a broken iPad behind.

Thursday, July 19

• A woman who honked at a man driving a BMW said the man pulled into her work, flashed a badge and told her she would be hearing from him soon. The woman does not believe he was a police officer.

• A mother and daughter, both believed to be stealing from a Washington Square store, were taken into custody.

• A resident in the 12600 block of Springwood Drive reported her purse was stolen out of her car inside the garage. The garage door was open about a foot when the incident happened. The resident also reported it looked like the person who entered the garage also left a broken iPad behind.

Friday, July 20

• Someone called to report a clothing drop box shed had been broken into twice. They said it appeared someone was crawling through the shoot get at the clothes.

• A man was taken into custody at Washington Square for shoplifting.

• A resident reported a case of fraud after receiving a phone call saying there was a warrant out for his arrest. He gave the caller his social security number and bank account information.

• A man who has been banned from property in the 7582 block of Hunziker Road, and reportedly was hassling people in the complex's parking lot, was arrested after police discovered he had a warrant out for his arrest.

• Someone called to report two men shooting up heroin in a vehicle near the 13900 block of Pacific Highway. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

Saturday, July 21

• Police responded to a call that someone had broken into a safe in a building located in the 12300 block of Scholls Ferry Road.

• A resident called to report that eight coyotes with their pups were seen on the soccer field in the 17000 block of 92nd Avenue. While the animals eventually went into nearby trees, the reporting party said she's worried because there are numerous children playing in the area. Another resident also called and said she and her two dogs were chased by a pack of coyotes in the same location.

• Someone called to report that the door lock on their vehicle had been punched out and a stereo removed in the 9500 block of Washington Square Drive.

• A woman reported a cell phone had been taken from her purse while she was shopping.

• Two men were reportedly involved in a fist fight in the 12500 block of North Dakota Street. One of the men was detained by police.

Sunday, July 22

• A Lyft driver reported that while picking up a passenger in the 11500 block of Pacific Highway, an intoxicated individual jumped out of his car and damaged it.

• A resident in the 11500 block of 88th Avenue said he's concerned about an apartment below him because people have been going in and out through a window despite the fact the tenant who used to live there is in jail and no one is supposed to be in the apartment.

• A resident in the 9200 block of Locust Street reported that his vehicle was broken into with a radio stolen out of it.

• Someone stole headphones from a business in the 9500 block of Washington Square Road.

• A man and his wife were confronted by a woman who jumped out of her car parked near Frewing Street and Village Glenn Drive with the woman claiming the couple was collecting information about her.

Monday, July 23

• A theft was reported in the 11100 block of 68th Parkway where tools worth $3,000 were stolen.

• Someone reported that a person was dealing meth near the bottle drop-off facility near Canterbury Lane and the Pacific Highway frontage road.

• A suspicious person reported on Washington Square Road was arrested after discovering he had three warrants out for his arrest.

TUALATIN

From July 17-23, Tualatin police responded to 517 calls for service including eight traffic crashes along with making 11 total arrests.

Tuesday, July 17

• A man wanted for shoplifting items the previous day, attempted to flee on foot when advised he was under arrest. He was caught a short time later where it was discovered he also had an outstanding warrant out for his arrest.

• A man was seen stealing a Stihl leaf blower out of the back of an open box truck in the 7100 block of Sagert Street. A burglary of household goods valued at almost $14,000 was reported from a storage facility in the 20200 block of Avery Court.

• Drug paraphernalia and two bags of a white crystal substance were found inside a U-Haul truck that had been stolen out of Portland and returned to a Tualatin U-Haul facility.

Wednesday, July 18

• A Tualatin man stopped for a traffic violation in the 20300 block of Boones Ferry Road was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

• Two people were arrested in the 17900 block of McEwan Road on outstanding warrants.

• Someone reported the theft of a vehicle that had been parked July 14 in a Lower Boones Ferry Road grocery store parking lot

• Someone stole a tree form the patio of the Oregon State Board of Nursing on Upper Boones Ferry Road.

Thursday, July 19

• The owner of a bicycle who saw someone take his bicycle outside a restaurant in the 19200 block of Boones Ferry Road, chased the suspect and got his bicycle back without incident with an officer noting: "Owner did not wish to be a victim."

• A resident reported the theft of a bicycle stolen from the 7800 block of Sagert Street.

Saturday, July 21

• An Oregon City man was arrested on outstanding warrants and for drug offenses (possession of a controlled substance, heroin) in the 19200 block of Martinazzi Avenue.

• A Tualatin man was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants after being contacted in the parking lot in the 8400 block of Warm Springs Street.

• A Wilsonville man was arrested in the 8100 block of Nyberg Street on a felony warrant, possession of methamphetamine and possession of stolen property.
