BEAVERTON

Monday, Aug. 6

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine after a stop at Southwest Garden Home Road and Oleson Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine, and his passenger on a charge of being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon, after a stop at Northwest 185th Avenue and Evergreen Parkway.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine at Southwest 173rd Avenue and Baseline Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine after a stop at Southwest Canyon Road and Rose Biggi Avenue.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of theft after someone reported a stolen mobile phone valued at $800. The man was arrested in the 11000 block of Southwest Canyon Road after the phone was tracked.

• A Louis Vuitton handbag, cash and a hand-carved wooden cane were among items valued at $5,000 reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 14000 block of Southwest Teal Boulevard.

• A 2018 silver Suburu Outback was reported stolen from a business in the 4300 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

• A Gresham man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine, and a Beaverton woman on a Polk County warrant, after a stop at Southwest Hart Road and Hyland Way.

• Four people at Northwest 167th Place and Twin Oaks Drive received warnings about a violation of a 72-hour camping limit.

• A transient woman was arrested at the Beaverton Transit Center on charges of drinking in public, interfering with public transportation, resisting arrest and harassment.

• Two men broke into a food cart at BG's Food Cartel, 4250 S.W. Rose Biggi Ave., stole tools and left the refrigerator and freezer open, causing food to spoil.

Wednesday, Aug. 8

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine after he was stopped for a bicycle violation at Southwest Broadway and Lombard Place.

• A wallet, San Francisco 49ers camouflage backpack and Oregon Ducks black backpack — each inscribed with "LaMichael James" — were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 14000 block of Southwest Teal Boulevard.

• A Hillsboro woman was arrested on charges of felony possession and distribution of methamphetamine, and a Yamhill woman on a misdemeanor changes, after a stop at Southwest 1st Street and Stott Avenue.

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of drugs and being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon in the 2700 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• Three people at Southwest 5th Street and Western Avenue received warnings about a violation of a 72-hour camping limit.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with clothing valued at more than $400 taken from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and theft of less than $100 in services, plus two warrants, at a business in the 12000 block of Southwest Crescent Street.

• A dark gray 1990 Honda Accord was reported stolen from an apartment parking lot in the 3200 block of Southwest 170th Avenue.

• Two chainsaws valued at $820 were reported stolen from a business in the 4400 block of Southwest 110th Avenue.

Thursday, Aug. 9

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of burglary, plus a warrant for burglary, after police discovered him under a blanket on the floor of an apartment in the 16000 block of Southwest Estuary Drive.

• A 1995 teal Honda Civic was reported stolen from the 10000 block of Southwest Trapper Terrace.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with goods valued at $700 taken from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of criminal mischief after he was found spray-painting multiple places in the Murray Scholls Town Center.

Friday, Aug. 10

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass after three employees asked him to leave the Beaverton City Library, 12375 S.W. 5th St., because he violated a ban on eating. Police said he threatened to end an employee's life if he were left alone with the employee.

• Auto parts valued at more than $500 were reported stolen from a vehicle at Southwest Merlo Drive and 170th Avenue.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of marijuana and reckless driving after a stop at Northwest Gables Creek Lane and Walker Road.

Saturday, Aug. 11

• An Austin, Tex., woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after she crashed into a tree near Southwest Murray Boulevard and Walker Road.

• Skin-care products valued at $5,400 were reported stolen from a business in the 3200 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A Portland woman was arrested on a charge of theft, and a Portland man who has a restraining order from the woman was arrested for a violation of that order. The arrests took place at a business in the 3100 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

Sunday, Aug. 12

• A woman told police that a man forced his way into her apartment in the 12000 block of Southwest Pioneer Lane after she got home. She grabbed a knife, but the suspect — who is still at large — took it away and cut her four times. She was treated at a hospital.

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and reckless endangerment of his passenger after a stop at Southwest Farmington Road and Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after a Uber driver dropped him off at the Elmonica MAX station and police spotted the man's vehicle leaving the parking lot.

• Six computer tablets valued at $2,000 were reported stolen when the glass door was smashed at a business in the 12000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A Vancouver, Wash., man was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with goods valued at $1,000 taken from a business in the 4400 block of Southwest 110th Avenue. A second man was at large.

• Clothing and Legos valued at $500 were reported stolen from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A Cornelius man was arrested on charges of attempted theft and disorderly conduct after he was foiled in a purse snatch at BG's Food Cartel, 4250 S.W. Rose Biggi Ave., then shouted at the food vendors.

• A Portland woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after a noninjury crash in the 14000 block of Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway.

• A 1994 Honda Civic was reported stolen from an apartment complex in the 13000 block of Southwest Bonnie Brae Street.

TIGARD

Wednesday, Aug. 8

• A purse was reported stolen or lost at Washington Square.

• Someone called to report that three juveniles had sprayed graffiti on structures near the new portables being installed at Twality Middle School.

• A juvenile reported missing was discovered sleeping under a desk in the 14200 block of Walnut Creek Court.

• A resident reported a laptop missing in the 13000 block of Ash Avenue.

Thursday, Aug. 9

• A donation shed in the 13700 block of Pacific Highway was broken into overnight.

• A resident said someone was scamming her out of money and reported the individual then texted her saying he was at her front door.

• Someone called to report an individual was using their credit card to make purchases at Starbucks for the last month.

• Large planters in front of property in the 13000 block of Grant Avenue were reported smashed to pieces.

• A purse was reported stolen from the food court at Washington Square.

• An individual at a restaurant in the 14200 block of Barrows Road pulled a knife on delivery driver. That individual was arrested at gunpoint.

Friday, Aug. 10

• Someone reported an individual purchased a cell phone using the victim's Social Security number.

• A theft from a garage was reported in the 12400 block of 72nd Avenue.

• A resident in the 9300 block of Maplewood Drive reported they were napping and woke up to find a screen removed from a window and items moved around.

• A resident on London Court called to report an ongoing issue with a neighbor making racist comments. Police were unable to locate the individual believed involved.

• Vehicles parked in the 9400 block of Home Street were reported broken into overnight.

• Someone in the 15000 block of 94th Avenue reported $20 in change had been taken out of an unlocked vehicle overnight.

Saturday, Aug. 11

• A cab driver in the 11400 block of Pacific Highway reported five customers refusing to get out of his van.

• A property owner called to report transients sleeping in the 12080 block of Main Street.

• Someone called to report their bicycle had been stolen off their vehicle while visiting a friend in the 10850 block of Highland Drive.

• Police checked out a person in the 11800 block of 91st Avenue who was yelling at someone on the phone holding a lighter. The individual had threatened to burn stuff in the past.

• An unknown individual had gotten into a vehicle parked at Barrows Road and Walnut Street and punched the car's dashboard, shattering a video screen. The caller said they knew the person who was responsible, who had fled by foot.

• Tires were reported slashed on two separate vehicles parked in the 12200 block of Hancock Court.

• Someone called to report at least five "syringes" in the bark dust at 121st Avenue and Springwood Drive. The syringes turned out to be needed to inject gel for whitening teeth.

• A woman who reportedly stole a bunch of things from a business in the 12200 block of Scholls Ferry Road was arrested and charged with theft.

• Someone called to report their vehicle, parked in the 10300 block of Greenburg Road, had been broken into.

• A fight that included up to 15 people reportedly involving tire irons and a gun was reported in the 8900 block of Commercial Street. Two men were detained and a pellet gun retrieved.

Monday, Aug. 13

• A customer at a restaurant in the 11600 block of Pacific Highway began throwing bags of chips at an employee and cursing after the employee refused to make him a sandwich.

• A resident reported that someone had cut out a radiator hose in his vehicle parked in the 7700 block of Pfaffle Street the previous night.

• A manager of a building in the 12400 block of 68th Avenue reported that an RV had an extension cord plugged into the business and was taking power without permission. When the manager knocked on the RV, all she got was an older voice yelling, "You don't own the street."

TUALATIN

Tualatin police responded to 453 calls for service between Aug 7 and 13 including 14 traffic crashes and six arrests.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

• Someone reported finding a black bag containing miscellaneous items in back of a business in the 18600 block of Boones Ferry Road.

• A dog owner who had left an animal in a hot vehicle in the 7400 block of Nyberg Street was arrested for second-degree animal neglect and harassment after the dog owner grabbed hold of the arm of the witness reporting the incident.

• Police arrested a woman in the 18700 block of Martinazzi Avenue for stealing a vehicle.

• Someone broke a video poker machine screen at a business in the 17900 block of McEwan Road.

Wednesday, Aug. 8

• Graffiti was reported on a street sign at Cheyenne Way and Tualatin Road.

• A man was arrested in the 17900 block of McEwan Road on a probation detainer.

• Suspected cocaine — 1. 3 grams — was found in a motel room in the 17900 block of McEwan Road after a customer checked out.

• A victim reported a wallet lost or stolen from the parking lot of the Fred Meyer store.

Thursday, Aug. 9

• A witness reported a case of indecent exposure in the 19300 block of 65th Avenue.

• Two unknown suspects reportedly shoplifted $4,800 worth of products from the Ulta on Nyberg Street.

Friday, Aug. 10

• Someone broke into a business in the 18700 block of Boones Ferry Road, stealing hundreds of dollars worth of quarters.

• A transient was arrested on an outstanding warrant on 68th Avenue and Napa Court.

• Someone threw a rock through the rear window of a car parked in the 21100 block of Iroquois Drive and also used chalk to draw a phallic symbol on the victim's driveway.

• An individual in the 7100 block of Sager Street was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant out of Washington County.

• A transient was arrested in the 19200 block of Martinazzi Avenue for outstanding warrants issued out of Clatsop County.

Saturday, Aug. 11

• Bicycles were reported stolen out of a secure area in the 18000 block of Lower Boones Ferry Road.
