The following reports were given to police in Beaverton, Tigard and Tualatin.

BEAVERTON

Monday, Aug. 13

• A Beaverton man ran out of gas on the Denney Road on-ramp to Highway 217 northbound. Police learned that the vehicle was stolen, so instead of a ride to a gas station, the man went to jail on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

• A red Hyundai Elantra was reported stolen from a business in the 13000 block of Southwest Farmington Road.

• A business in the 11000 block of Southwest Barnes Road reported $11,000 missing from its bank deposits after an employee responsible for them quit.

• A business in the 3800 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard reported that a man ran out with a gold coin valued at $1,200.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of theft and resisting arrest in connection with a hat removed from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Canyon Road. When police found him on a bicycle near another business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway, he said he had returned the hat — but police discovered it in an arm pit under his shirt. He resisted arrest while in handcuffs and threatened officers with needles infected with the HIV virus that were reportedly on his person.

• A Beaverton man and a Talent woman were arrested on charges of possession of cocaine and heroin at a stop in the 1200 block of Southwest 170th Avenue.

Tuesday, Aug. 14

• A Canby man was arrested on charges of drunken driving, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person at a stop at Southwest Cabot Street and 110th Avenue.

• A gray 2007 Lexus 250 was reported stolen from a business in the 8000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with $780 taken since April from a business in the 1200 block of Northwest 185th Avenue.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of felony possession of heroin, plus a warrant, after she crossed a street against the traffic signal. The incident occurred in the 3000 block of Southwest Vista Drive.

Wednesday, Aug. 15

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at the Pacific Highway on-ramp to Highway 217 southbound. Tigard police requested assistance from Beaverton.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of heroin at Southwest Hall and Greenway boulevards.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass after he went through unlocked back doors to enter two apartments in the 13000 block of Southwest Electric Street. Police found him hiding in a nearby tree.

• A Beaverton woman and two transient men were arrested on multiple charges in connection with siphoning fuel and damaging a vehicle in the 3000 block of Southwest 170th Avenue. One of the men also was charged with theft of a bicycle.

• A 1991 Honda Civic wagon was reported stolen in the 10000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of felony possession of heroin and methamphetamine at Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway and Lombard Avenue.

Thursday, Aug. 16

• A 2015 black Ford Focus was reported stolen from a business in the 15000 block of Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine at Southwest First Street and Stott Avenue.

Friday, Aug. 17

• Two Maryland women and two transient men were arrested on charges of identity theft at a business in the 3000 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard. The men also face charges of aggravated first-degree theft.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on multiple charges after he passed a counterfeit $100 bill at a business in the 3100 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard. Police found nine more counterfeit $100 bills in his pocket.

• A 2011 Chevrolet Camaro was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 2800 block of Southwest Hocken Avenue. The thief obtained the victim's purse and car keys from an unlocked locker while she was inside.

• Someone was stabbed in the upper right thigh while walking near Barrows Park. Police applied a tourniquet and the victim was taken to Oregon Health & Science University. The assailant was at large.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of harassment and being a felon in possession of a firearm in the 4500 block of Southwest 99th Avenue.

• A Tigard woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and Barrows Road.

Saturday, Aug. 18

• A Tigard man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at the Canyon Road on-ramp to Highway 217 southbound.

• A mobile phone was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• An Aloha man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after a crash at Southwest Westgate Drive and Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man and an Oak Grove woman were arrested in connection with the passing of a counterfeit $100 bill at a business in the 4700 block of Southwest Griffith Drive.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Lombard Avenue and Denney Road.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Electric Street and Hocken Avenue.

Sunday, Aug. 19

• Damage topped $100,000 when 44 cars and several buildings were spray-painted at an apartment complex in the 15000 block of Southwest Millikan Way.

• A white Trek Verve 1 bicycle valued at $400 was reported stolen in the 4500 block of Southwest Angel Avenue.

• A bicycle valued at $700 and a mobile phone valued at $600 were reported stolen after the owner went into a business in the 3800 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard.

TIGARD

Wednesday, Aug. 15

• A man wanted on two warrants was arrested in the 7500 block of Bonita Road following a report of a domestic disturbance.

• A resident in the 15800 block of 81st Court saw someone breaking into mailboxes. The man fled when the resident opened her door. Police responding to the scene found the lock on the mailbox broken with no mail left inside.

• Someone reported a man going through trash in the 10800 block of Briarwood Place

• A resident said they went to the car wash in the 9800 block of Walnut Place before it was open to vacuum their car and found the vacuum change box open with all the quarters inside exposed. The resident removed the quarters and told police they simply wanted to make sure they all got returned to the business.

• Three loads of laundry were reported stolen from a location in a complex in the 13000 block of 68th Parkway.

• An apartment in the 9680 block of Johnson Street was reportedly broken into and ransacked.

Thursday, Aug. 16

• An employee reported a flower pot had been move and outside water running at full blast in the 12400 block of Main Street. The employee said there had been ongoing problems with transients using water, electricity and moving stuff around in the area.

• A resident in the 9700 block of North Dakota reported that a front license plate had been stolen off her vehicle for the third time.

• A concrete bird bath was stolen from a residence in the 13100 block of Benish Street.

• Someone reported a transient camp in the green area just south of the 11200 block of 72nd Avenue. The reporting party said there was an ongoing problem with having them hang out in the parking lot and approaching motorists.

Friday, Aug. 17

• A beer theft in progress was reported in the 10600 block of McDonald Street.

Someone called to complain about homeless people living on the street along Pacific Highway at 72nd Avenue. The caller said she almost hit one who was laying on the curb.

• A woman said her friend just took a picture of spray-painted graffiti on a building bearing her name. The caller just wanted police to know it wasn't her.

• A resident in the 11000 block of Meadowbrook Drive said a man came to her home claiming he was from Comcast and then proceeded to do a lot of strange things. He left when the caller tried to call Comcast to verify he was an employee.

Saturday, Aug. 18

• A motorist who was driving with their vehicle's tailgate dragging on Pacific Highway near Dartmouth Street was later taken into custody on a DUII charge.

• A resident in the 11700 block of Morning Hill Drive said her dog ran into a neighbor's garage and was stuck there after the door was shut. The owner wanted police to break in because she was afraid the animal would suffocate. However, the resident drove up while an officer responded and the issue was resolved.

• Someone reportedly poured some type of chemical on the greens at the Summerfield Golf Course. It was unknown if it was intentional or on accident.

• Washington Square security reported a woman using heroin in a stairwell. She ended up in a restroom in a restaurant across the street. A warrant for her arrest was later confirmed and she was taken into custody.

Sunday, Aug. 19

• Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 9700 block of Cascade Avenue after seeing someone wearing a mask trying to break down a front door. Later, two individuals were detained.

• A man reportedly hit a woman in the eye while at the hookah shop in the 13000 block of Pacific Highway.

• Someone yelled at a resident in the 11800 block of Lynn Street about her flag, saying it showed she was prejudice. The reporting party's house was egged later that night.

Monday, Aug. 20

• A resident reported watching someone via camera trying to break into his car in the 13600 block of Sandridge Drive. Police detained one person at the scene.

• A resident in the 12700 block of Pacific Highway called to report the theft of recycling containers but were told to file a police report before the garbage hauling could be replaced.

• A woman reported being assaulted at Pacific Highway and Walnut Street.

Someone reported a man walking onto porches and looking into windows in the 6600 block of Pine Street. The man seems confused and may have been on drugs the caller reported.

TUALATIN

Between Aug. 14 and 20, Tualatin police responded to 556 calls for service, responded to 28 traffic crashes and made 15 total arrests.

Tuesday, Aug. 14

• A man was issued a citation in lieu of custody following a traffic stop for driving while his license was suspended.

• A business in the 19900 block of 95th Avenue reported a package containing a computer valued at almost $6,000 was stolen.

• Apple watches valued at $359 each were reportedly shoplifted from the Bridgeport Village Apple Store.

Wednesday, Aug. 15

A man was arrested in the 8100 block of Tualatin-Sherwood Road and later lodged at Washington County Jail on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation for possession of meth.

• A man and woman who were pulled over for a traffic stop in the 16900 block of 72nd Avenue were eventually arrested after a chase in a vehicle and one foot. They faced a variety of charges with the woman charged with a probation violation and possession of methamphetamine; the male with reckless driving, attempting to elude in a motor vehicle, burglary, attempting to elude on foot, reckless driving, and numerous other outstanding warrants, one for failing to appear for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Thursday, Aug. 16

• A woman was arrested at Nyberg Street and I-5 for an outstanding warrant (possession of methamphetamine) issued out of Multnomah County.

• An unknown individual reportedly stole a 4-month-old cat from PetCo.

• A purse was reported stolen in the 8300 block of Mohawk Street with a credit card later used at a Trimet kiosk.

Friday, Aug. 17

• A suspect in the 7100 block of Sagert Street was arrested after fleeing from a stolen vehicle. The man, who was wanted on several outstanding warrants, was charged with interfering with a police officer and attempting to elude on foot.

• A man was arrested at Sagert Street and 70th Avenue for being in a stolen vehicle with a stolen license plate. He was also in possession of methamphetamine.

• A woman was arrested in the 19300 block of 65th Avenue on misdemeanor assault and strangulation charges.

Sunday, Aug. 19

• A man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant in the 19300 block of 65th Avenue.

• A transient was arrested in the 8100 block of Nyberg Street for criminal trespass and possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

• A man was arrested at a motel in the 17900 block of McEwan Road on criminal trespass and interfering with a police officer charges after failing to leave the motel property when told. He was later found hiding in a bathroom.
