The following calls were reported by police in Beaverton, Tigard and Tualatin.

BEAVERTON

Monday, Aug. 20

• A transient man and woman were arrested, one on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle and the other on a charge of theft, after license plates were found to be switched in the 12000 block of Southwest Scholls Ferry Road.

• Two Beaverton men were arrested, one on warrants and the other on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine, at Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and Murray Boulevard.

• Power tools valued at more than $1,300 were reported stolen from a detached garage in an apartment complex in the 5000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard.

• A Tigard man was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with items valued at $1,000 taken from a business in the 4400 block of Southwest 110th Avenue.

• Tools valued at $600 plus a wallet were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 16000 block of Southwest Estuary Drive.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass after his girlfriend knocked him down and punched him at a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway, drawing attention from security. He had been caught shoplifting previously and barred from the store.

• A transient man and woman were arrested on charges of theft and misdemeanor criminal conspiracy in connection with goods valued at $400 taken from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. They fled but were stopped on Highway 217.

Tuesday, Aug. 21

• An Aloha woman was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine while she was a passenger in a car at Northwest Cornell Road and 143rd Avenue.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and felony possession of cocaine at the Southwest Allen Boulevard frontage road and Lee Avenue.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of theft and criminal mischief in connection with the forced removal of a Nike bicycle rack from its base in the 14000 block of Southwest Millikan Way.

• A Salem woman was arrested on a charge of felony possession of heroin in the 14000 block of Southwest Murray Scholls Drive.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with tools valued at more than $1,400 taken from a business in the 4400 block of Southwest 110th Avenue. Police said he was involved in two previous incidents.

• Stereo equipment was damaged at Southridge High School when someone entered the press box through an unlocked roof hatch. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

Wednesday, Aug. 22

• A transient man was arrested on charges of theft and felony possession of methamphetamine at a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

Thursday, Aug. 23

• A Beaverton woman and a transient man were arrested on multiple charges, including felony possession of heroin and methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drugs, at Sunset Highway westbound at Northwest 185th Avenue.

• A dog was reported stolen while its seller went to cash a check at a bank in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. Police said the couple purporting to buy the dog fled in a burgundy Jeep Cherokee.

• A Tigard woman was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with goods valued at almost $900 taken from a business in the 3100 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine at a stop on the Murray-Terman Ramp near Southwest Murray Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon in the 12000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A Camas, Wash., man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway and Griffith Drive.

Friday, Aug. 24

• A Beaverton man and a transient woman were arrested on charges of littering, criminal trespass and criminal mischief in connection with building a camp near Southwest Allen Boulevard and 107th Avenue.

• A mobile phone valued at $1,000 was reported stolen in the 13000 block of Southwest Electric Street.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine at Southwest Canyon Road and Hall Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and 170th Avenue.

Saturday, Aug. 25

• A purse and other items valued at more than $1,400 were reported stolen from the trunk of a vehicle in the 15000 block of Southwest Walker Road. Police said someone broke the rear window to gain access.

• A Portland man and woman were arrested on charges of theft in connection with items valued at $574 taken from a business in the 3400 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

Sunday, Aug. 26

• A Forest Grove man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Canyon Road and 87th Avenue.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 11000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Farmington Road and Watson Avenue.

• A Portland woman was arrested on charges of theft and criminal trespass after power tools valued at $600 were taken from a business in the 4400 block of Southwest 110th Avenue. The arrest occurred after she returned to the store to pick up a passenger.

Monday, Aug. 27

• A golf bag, clubs, clothing and equipment valued at more than $3,500 were reported stolen from the trunk of a car in the 11000 block of Southwest Teal Boulevard.

• A silver 2003 Hyundai Elantra was reported stolen from a business in the 14000 block of Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and reckless driving at Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard and Butner Road.

TIGARD

Over the last week, Tigard police responded to the following calls: Warrants – 7, Thefts – 6, Burglaries – 2, Resisting Arrest – 1, Drugs – 2, Driving While Suspended/Revoked – 1, Assaults – 2, interfering with a Police Officer – 1 and DUIIs – 2

Tuesday, Aug. 21

• A resident in the 14900 block of Royalty Parkway who initially thought her car had been stolen, later found it at a towing company.

• A resident in the 9600 block of McKenzie Street came home to a ransacked apartment. She noted that the point of entry was a window where an air conditioner had been removed.

• Two people were reported fornicating in a baseball field next to a church parking lot in the 10900 block of 121st Avenue.

• A person believed to have stolen something from a store in the 10300 block of Cascade Avenue earlier in the day returned later and stole a cooler on his way out.

Wednesday, Aug. 22

• A clothing donation shed behind a business in the 13300 block of Pacific Highway was broken into overnight.

• A storage shed in a parking lot of a business located at 7900 Durham Road was broken into with a pressure washer, backpack blower and lawnmower taken.

• A motorist called to report someone had poured tar on his truck in the 16195 block of 72nd Avenue.

• A wallet was taken from a vehicle parked in the 11600 block of Lomita Ave.

• Criminal mischief was reported after someone scratched the back of a pickup truck and broke out a turn signal when it was parked in the 11900 block of Pacific Highway.

Friday, Aug. 24

• A man was reported swinging a bat near cars located at Main and Commercial streets.

• An employee of a business in the 10600 block of McDonald Street called police after a man got upset because the employee refused service to the customer because he had a boa constrictor wrapped around his neck.

• A bike was taken from a front porch of a residence in the 11427 block of 135th Avenue.

• A man was reported panhandling inside the Tigard Public Library.

• A woman who reportedly had syringes in the pockets of her sweatshirt was reported jumping into cars at a Nimbus Avenue fast-food restaurant.

• An employee at a business in the 13900 block of Pacific Highway reported that a customer had hit another customer in the face.

Saturday, Aug. 25

• Police were called when a man standing on a sidewalk in the 8200 block of Pfaffle Street began telling people he was charging them $1 before he would allow them to cross the sidewalk where he was standing.

• Someone reported that a man in the 11600 block of Pacific Highway grabbed his 4- or 5-year-old child by the throat and had hit the boy for crying.

• Miscellaneous items were taken out of a vehicle parked in the 14800 block of Sequoia Parkway.

• Someone reported seeing someone steal bottles that had already been redeemed at the bottle drop at Pacific Highway and Gaarde Street.

Sunday, Aug. 26

• A burglary was reported I the 14500 block of Dekorte Terrace after the homeowner discovered a broken window and blood on a window ledge. The homeowner's dog was reported missing as well.

• A case of criminal mischief was reported after a juvenile allegedly smashed a watermelon on a vehicle in the 15200 block of 100th Avenue.

• Someone broke into the coin slots of laundry machines in a complex in the 12000 block of 135th Avenue.

• A vehicle parked in the 7100 block of Shady Court was entered and random items removed.

• A resident reported someone used his Home Depot card. The same person also got notification of a credit check someone else had made.

Monday, Aug. 27

• A clerk at a business in the 15900 block of Hall Boulevard reported a customer was attacking a teen customer at the store, threatening to kill him and his brother. He then told the calling party to give him $50 before breaking his phone.

• A vehicle parked in the Washington Square parking lot was broken into overnight.

• An apartment complex laundry room in the 14200 block of 112th Avenue was vandalized.

• A video showed a former employee of a business in the 11600 block of Pacific Highway breaking in the store and stealing items.

• A vacant home in the 12000 block of Hall Boulevard was reported broken into with entry gained by throwing a brick through a window.

• A client at a group home in the 13400 block of 76th Avenue was taken to a juvenile facility after she reportedly hit a staff member over the head with a heavy object.

TUALATIN

From Aug. 21 to 27, Tualatin police responded to 536 calls for service including 20 traffic crashes and made 17 arrests.

Tuesday, Aug. 21

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of larceny shoplifting from a local department store along with interfering with a public safety officer and on an outstanding warrant.

Wednesday, Aug. 22

• A Tualatin man was arrested at Comanche Way and 86th Avenue on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Beaverton Municipal Court.

• While investigating a traffic crash in the 19300 block of Martinazzi Avenue, a woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant for being in possession of a forged instrument.

• Someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the 19600 block of 67th Avenue and took a purse.

Thursday, Aug. 23

• A transient contacted on 90th Avenue and Sweek Drive was arrested on two warrants. His companion was also arrested on a warrant for providing false information to a police officer.

• A business in the 19000 block of 119th Avenue was bilked out of $1,500 as the result of an email scam.

• A car parked at a business in the 7400 block of Nyberg Street was broken into with a diaper bag stolen.

• A transient was arrested at Washington Square Road, charged with being in possession of methamphetamine.

• A man was arrested on three outstanding misdemeanor warrants in the 8200 block of Tonka Street.

Friday Aug. 24

• Someone used a Tualatin resident's personal information to open a Verizon Wireless account.

• A woman contacted in the 10800 block of Canterbury Lane was discovered to be in possession of cocaine.

• A woman driving without her headlights at Martinazzi Avenue and Warm Springs Street was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

• A woman who was driving while her license was revoked was also discovered to be driving under the influence of intoxicants and arrested at 106th Avenue and Tualatin Road. She was also charged with interfering with a public safety officer after calling 911 several times during her arrest when she was told not to and for aggravated assault after spitting on the arresting officer.

• A man was arrested in the 19200 block of Martinazzi Avenue on misdemeanor warrants.

• Someone stole a victim's car parked in the 7400 block of Bridgeport Road.

Sunday, Aug. 26

• A woman was arrested at Sagert Street and 68th Avenue on two outstanding warrants.

• A man was arrested in the 8500 block of Tualatin Road for interfering with a police officer.
