BEAVERTON

Tuesday, Aug. 28

• An Oregon City woman was arrested on charges of criminal trespass and theft in connection with goods valued at $491 taken from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of controlled substances at the on-ramp from Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway to Highway 217 northbound.

• Tools valued at $600 were reported stolen from a business in the 4400 block of Southwest 110th Avenue.

• A Tigard woman was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with goods valued at $1,460 taken from a business in the 3100 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine at Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway and Lombard Avenue.

• A silver Mazda 3 was reported stolen from a business in the 13000 block of Southwest Farmington Road.

• A laptop computer was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 14000 block of Southwest 6th Street.

• A Spanaway, Wash., man, and a transient man were arrested on multiple charges, including identity theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle, in connection with an attempted purchase from a business in the 2600 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A trailer valued at more than $7,000 was reported stolen in the 6700 block of Southwest 152nd Avenue.

Thursday, Aug. 30

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Allen and King boulevards.

• A Tualatin man was arrested on charges of theft and criminal trespass, and a transient woman was arrested on a charge of identity theft, in connection with goods valued at $299 taken from a business in the 4400 block of Southwest 110th Avenue.

Friday, Aug. 31

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and identity theft at Northwest 185th Avenue and Eider Court.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Allen and King boulevards.

• Three incidents of thefts from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway resulted in the arrests of a Portland woman, a transient man, a Cornelius man, a Forest Grove man and a Hillsboro woman, the latter on charges of resisting arrest and felony possession of methamphetamine.

• Two men and two women, all transients, were arrested after they attempted to elude police near Southwest Lombard Avenue and Center Street, and ditched their car but were caught.

Saturday, Sept. 1

• A Vancouver, Wash., man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Sunset Highway eastbound at Northwest Cornell Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after he drove directly into a death investigation scene at Southwest Murray Boulevard and Hart Road, where several police cars were parked.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with clothing valued at $550 and a pack of baby back ribs taken from a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A Louis Vuitton wallet with $300 in cash was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 9000 block of Southwest Downing Drive.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of interfering with public transportation in connection with delaying buses and causing a disturbance at the Beaverton Transit Center.

• A Portland man and a Hillsboro woman were arrested on charges of misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine at Southwest 102nd Avenue and Canyon Road. The man also had a warrant.

• A Clackamas man and a Scappoose woman were arrested in connection with a fight in the 13000 block of Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway. The woman punched the man's face, then hid in the bushes, kicked officers and resisted arrest.

Sunday, Sept. 2

• An argument between a husband and wife over money in the 6000 block of Southwest King Boulevard resulted in the man grabbing and bruising the woman's forearm, and his arrest on domestic-violence misdemeanor charges of strangulation and assault.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after he sped west on the Sunset Highway near Murray Boulevard, failed to elude police and went down a dead end.

• A 1997 red Ford Ranger with Washington license plates, and tolls valued at $500, was reported stolen in the 13000 block of Southwest 2nd Street.

• A ring was reported stolen in a parking lot in the 13000 block of Northwest Science Park Drive, where the would-be seller told police that the other person took the ring and drove off.

TIGARD

Within the last week, Tigard police responded to the following: Assaults – 3, False Information To a Police Officer – 1, Warrants – 6, Drug Offenses – 1, Thefts – 2 and DUIIs – 2.

Tuesday, Aug. 28

• A man walking along Greenburg Road at the northbound Highway 217 ramp shoved a woman into a concrete barrier.

• A theft from a vehicle parked in the 14800 block of Sequoia Parkway was reported.

• A man was reported chasing someone who had taken his bicycle in the 13600 block of Ascension Drive.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

• Police responded to a report of harassment in a parking lot in the 16200 block of Pacific Highway after a man told a woman he was going to shoot her after the pair had a dispute over parking.

• Two individuals walking home from the 10800 block of Walnut Street were assaulted by an older male who once attended a nearby school.

• A theft was reported from the Washington Square Target store.

• A resident in the 11800 block of 91st Avenue reported her tires had been slashed several times this summer.

• Someone called to report a man had been sleeping in bushes and using a nearby pond to bathe in naked in the 10300 block of Nimbus Avenue.

• An employee at a business in the 11900 block of Pacific Highway reported being sprayed with mace by an individual they were trying to get to leave the premises.

Friday, Aug. 31

• A resident reported fraud on their credit card.

• A case of "dine and dash" was reported at a restaurant in the 11400 block of Pacific Highway.

Saturday, Sept. 1

• A man was reported urinating at a bus stop area in the 12000 block of Main Street.

• A transient was reported urinating in front of children in the 8900 block of Commercial Street.

• A woman ran out of a store in the 12200 block of Scholls Ferry Road after stealing a basket of items.

• A woman said people in a homeless shelter in the 13100 block of Hall Boulevard assaulted her.

• Someone called to report three men with large wire cutters trying to open a propane tank in the 12000 block of Main Street.

• Two laptop computers were reported stolen from a kiosk at Washington Square.

Sunday, Sept. 2

• An employee reported a transient camping near a city building in the 11400 block of Winterlake Drive, taking electricity by hooking up an extension cord from the building to his campsite.

• A neighbor in the 13800 block of 114th Avenue reportedly keeps throwing junk in his neighbor's yard when he walks by.

• Someone called to report an individual at the food carts in the 12200 block of Main Street huffing nitrous oxide.

Monday, Sept. 3

• An individual was taken into custody after he allegedly beat a student in the 9900 block of Walnut Street. The suspect was charged with fourth-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief.

• A bike was reported stolen from outside a Washington Square store.

TUALATIN

From Aug. 28 through Sept. 3, Tualatin police responded to 505 calls for service including 16 traffic crashes and making 16 total arrests.

Tuesday, Aug. 28

• Police responded to a report of theft from a vehicle in the 6900 block of Nyberg Street

• A business owner in the 11800 block of Myslony Street reported that someone had scaled a fence and broke into two vending machines.

• Police arrested a man in the 8300 block of Mohawk Street on four felony warrants. He was additionally charged with interfering with a police officer after trying to flee the scene.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

• A Tualatin Public Library patron was excluded from the facility after being found with an open container of alcohol.

• A woman was arrested and lodged at Washington County Jail in the 18700 block of 90th Avenue, charged with second-degree criminal trespassing, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer.

Thursday, Aug. 30

• A transient was arrested in the 9700 block of Tualatin Road on an outstanding warrant.

• A customer was banned from a convenience store in the 19400 block of Boones Ferry road for being loud and threatening employees.

• A man was arrested in the 19200 block of Boones Ferry Road for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Friday, Aug. 31

• A woman was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant in the 17800 block of McEwan Road.

Someone reported a vehicle had run into a city stop sign and damaged it.

• A man was arrested at Fred Meyer for taken a receipt out of the trash, grabbed a six-pack of soda and tried to return it to the store.

• Unknown suspects were believed to have stolen almost $3,500 in computer/smart phone items from the Apple Store at Bridgeport Village.

Saturday, Sept. 1

• Two women were arrested in the 17900 block of McEwan Road for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen firearm, identity theft, possession of stolen property and several outstanding warrants.

• A vehicle was broken into at LA Fitness with a suitcase containing lottery tickets stolen.

• A transient was arrested after pulling out two baggies of methamphetamine from his pocket while in the 19800 block of 68th Avenue.

• A man was charged with first-degree theft after stealing merchandise — a police report listed more than 50 items consisting mostly of clothes — from the TJ Maxx store.
