BEAVERTON

Monday, Sept. 17

• A stereo and speaker were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1300 block of Southwest Second Street.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with an incident at a business in the 4600 block of Southwest Washington Avenue.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of reckless driving after he sped, missed a turn and crashed into a curb near Southwest Farmington Road and 139th Avenue.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 14000 block of Southwest Murray Scholls Drive.

Tuesday, Sept. 18

• A purse and wallet were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 11000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard when someone broke a passenger-side window.

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of theft, felony possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drugs in connection with shoplifting at a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

Wednesday, Sept. 19

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of controlled substances at Southwest Horizon Boulevard and Scholls Ferry Road.

• A Wilsonville man was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of marijuana in the 3000 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of theft and criminal trespass in connection with shoplifting at a business in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

Thursday, Sept. 20

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Allen Boulevard and Dale Avenue.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with a stolen purse at the Beaverton City Library, 12375 S.W. 5th St.

• Four transient men and one transient woman were arrested on charges of offensive littering and littering near a waterway at an apartment complex in the 17000 block of Northwest Cornell Road.

• Items valued at $4,500 were reported stolen from a storage unit in the 11000 block of Southwest Allen Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after he attempted to punch a security officer for Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District in the 400 block of Northwest Schlottman Place.

Friday, Sept. 21

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of violating a restraining order and harassment in the 16000 block of Southwest Springwater Court.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on charges of drunken driving and reckless driving in connection with a crash at Southwest Davies Road and Stirrup Street.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on multiple charges, including interfering with police and resisting arrest, in connection with an incident in the 8600 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard.

• Goods valued at $500 were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 6500 block of Southwest Nehalem Lane.

Saturday, Sept. 22

• A Tualatin man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 10000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A second Tualatin man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 10000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Canyon Road and Hall Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and Murray Boulevard.

• A backpack was reported stolen from the Beaverton City Library.

• A Fuji Traverse bicycle valued at $400 was reported stolen from an apartment complex in the 12000 block of Southwest Center Street.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Murray Boulevard and Millikan Way after another motorist called police.

Sunday, Sept. 23

• A Cornelius woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at West Baseline Road and Southwest 170th Avenue.

• A faded yellow Gary Fisher bicycle was reported stolen from the Beaverton Transit Center.

• Tools valued at more than $10,000 were reported stolen from a van parked in the 800 block of Southwest 158th Avenue.

• Landscape lighting was damaged at a business in the 1800 block of Northwest 167th Place. The estimate was $2,500.

• A driver-side window was shattered in a vehicle in the 8600 block of Southwest Turquoise Loop.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of theft after he took a mobile phone left inside a business in the 15000 block of Southwest Walker Road, then hid it in the store while the victim followed him. The man was arrested outside the store.

• Someone broke into a vehicle in the 7000 block of Southwest Heath Place and reportedly stole three knives and badges from the Los Angeles Police Department and United States Marshals Service.

• Recordings and yard tools valued at $900 were reported stolen from a storage unit in the 11000 block of Southwest Allen Boulevard. The same unit was burglarized on Thursday.

TIGARD

Over the last week, Tigard police responded to the following: Assaults – 3, Fraud – 1, Outstanding Warrants – 5, Theft – 2, Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor – 1, Criminal Trespass – 1, Driving While Suspended – 1, Drug Offense – 1, Interfering with a Police Officer – 1 and Theft from a Vehicle – 1.

Tuesday, Sept. 18

• Police responded to a call of a possible drunken driver at Highway 217 and Greenburg Road. Police discovered the individual was not drunk, just sleepy.

• Someone reportedly broke into a laundry room in a complex in the 12375 block of Hall Boulevard and stole money along with some equipment.

• A caller phoned police to report her lunch bag had been taken from the front seat of her car parked in the 9600 block of Hillview Court.

• Police responded to a report of what they said were drugs left in a small baggie in a bathroom in the 12000 block of Main Street.

• A suspicious person was reported, through second-hand information, lurking around the neighborhood and taking photos of open garage doors in the 15100 block of Kenton Drive.

Art was reported stolen from a restaurant bathroom in the 12400 block of Main Street.

Wednesday, Sept. 19

• Someone called to report two males sitting on a bench, smoking marijuana, in the 11400 block of Winterlake Drive.

• A teen just ran from a convenience store in the 10700 block of Greenburg Road with a backpack full of stolen beer.

Friday, Sept. 21

• Someone walked into the police department to report someone had keyed the bumper on their car.

• A resident reported receiving an email at their work address from an unknown subject asking for money.

• A vehicle was reported stolen from a rental car facility after an employee gave keys to two men she thought were employees.

Saturday, Sept. 22

• A group of up to 10 teenagers at Washington Square were reported fighting in the parking lot.

• A resident in an apartment complex in the 11800 block of 91st Avenue reported a tenant who keeps breaking her property, most recently a Halloween decoration.

Sunday, Sept. 23

• A woman at Washington Square reported an unknown male put a phone with its lens facing up in her dressing room while she was changing.

• A man was reported walking up and down 69th Avenue yelling profanities and trying to pick fights with people.

• Someone reported dropping a credit card in the parking lot of Washington Square the night before and discovered it was almost immediately used at Macy's.

• A bike was reported stolen from behind a fence in the 15800 block of Serena Court.

Monday, Sept. 24

• Someone reported a man going through cars and opening at least one door at Frewing Street and Ash Avenue. Police located and detained the man who was later arrested and taken to Washington County Jail.

• Someone entered a home in the 13200 block of Ash Avenue when the homeowner was inside sleeping, rummaged through some items and left. The reporting party never got a look at the suspect.

• Someone reported the windows in their vehicle had been smashed while in the Washington Square Parking Lot.

• Police received an unsubstantiated report from a resident on McDonald Street who reported what she said was a 25-pound bobcat.

TUALATIN

From Sept. 18 to 24, Tualatin police responded to 539 total calls including 14 traffic crashes and made 12 arrests.

Tuesday, Sept. 18

• Police responded to a report of a suspect in a dark-colored car who drove directly to a victim's car in the L.A. Fitness parking lot, walked to the front passenger side window, smashed it and removed a computer bag. The suspect then drove to another car, again broke a window and stole a backpack.

• A transient was arrested on an outstanding warrant and for giving false information to a police officer.

• A pedestrian reported being knocked down by a gray semi-truck that didn't stop after striking the victim in the 10800 block of Tualatin-Sherwood Road.

• A man escaped through an emergency door with a cart filled with unpaid clothing valued at $3,215 at Bridgeport Village

Wednesday, Sept. 19

• A victim reported someone had broken into his locker the prior Friday at 24 Hour Fitness, stealing $200.

Thursday, Sept. 20

• A man was arrested in the 6885 block of Nyberg Street on an outstanding drug warrants.

• A man was arrested at Tualatin Road and Chippewa Trail for driving under the influence of intoxicates. He was transported to Washington county Jail.

Saturday, Sept. 22

• A man was arrested on two outstanding misdemeanor warrants in the 8800 block of Umatilla Street.

Someone entered a vehicle in the 20700 block of 115th Avenue and took a vehicle title along with miscellaneous paperwork.

Someone reported finding a backpack containing drugs and drug paraphernalia at a restaurant in the 18700 block of Boones Ferry Road.

• A hit and run driver ran into a motorist and then fed in the 8900 block of Sweek Drive.

Sunday, Sept. 23

• A motorist driving on McEwan Road at Lower Boones Ferry was given a citation after being found driving while revoked.

• A man was arrested on a felony warrant in the 7151 block of Sagert Street.
