BEAVERTON

Sunday, Feb. 17

• A Cornelius man was arrested on a warrant and a Forest Grove woman was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine at a stop at Southwest Allen Boulevard and Lombard Avenue.

• A business in the 14000 block of Southwest Allen Boulevard was robbed of $593 when someone entered and pointed a handgun at an employee.

• A Hillsboro woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in connection with a three-car crash at Southwest Jenkins Road and Murray Boulevard.

• A Gresham man was arrested on charges of drunken driving, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person after a crash at Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and Murray Boulevard.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Canyon Road and 103rd Avenue.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of felony strangulation after a fight with his girlfriend in the 500 block of Southwest Valeria View Drive.

• A gray Trek road bicycle valued at $600 was reported stolen from an open garage in the 16000 block of West Baseline Road.

• Power tools valued at $300 were reported stolen from a home in the 300 block of Northwest 163rd Place.

• A red 2000 Honda CRV was reported stolen in the 2000 block of Southwest 79th Avenue.

• A mobile phone valued at $500 was reported stolen at the Howard M. Terpenning Recreation Complex, 15707 S.W. Walker Rd.

Monday, Feb. 18

• A Portland woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 15000 block of Southwest Sparrow Loop after she drove to her ex-boyfriend's home without being invited and refused to leave.

• A green 1992 Jeep Cherokee with goods valued at more than $3,000 was reported stolen from an apartment complex in the 4100 block of Southwest Hocken Avenue.

• A transient man was arrested on multiple charges at the Beaverton Transit Center, where he was found sleeping on a MAX train, refused to leave, moved to another train, and slapped and scratched a TriMet supervisor before police arrested him.

• Bicycles valued at $10,000 were reported stolen from a detached garage in the 400 block of Northwest Lost Springs Terrace.

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and recklessly endangering another person after he was stopped westbound on the Sunset Highway near Northwest Murray Boulevard. He attempted to switch seats with a passenger to avoid arrest.

• A man and a woman, both from Beaverton, were arrested on multiple charges — the woman on felony possession and distribution of heroin — at a stop at Southwest Davies Road and Greenway Boulevard.

• An optical phoroptor valued at $2,500 was reported stolen from an attached shed for an office in the 12000 block of Southwest 1st Street.

• A black 1985 Chevrolet Blazer was reported stolen in the 7800 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard.

Tuesday, Feb. 19

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving on Highway 217 southbound at Southwest Walker Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor assault in connection with choking his girlfriend about a dozen times in the past five months.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and reckless driving in connection with knocking down a tree in the 15000 block of Southwest Cynthia Lane.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of felony strangulation and harassment in the 5800 block of Southwest Erickson Avenue in connection with choking his brother, who suffered a seizure.

• A gold 1994 Honda Accord was reported stolen in the 8800 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and interfering with public transportation after screaming at TriMet employees and threatening them at the Beaverton Transit Center.

• A Vancouver, Wash., man was arrested on charges of drunken driving, reckless driving and a felon in possession of a firearm at Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and Murray Boulevard.

• A transient woman was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with the removal of goods valued at $2,172 from a store in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. The goods were recovered.

• A masked man entered a business in the 7500 block of Southwest Oleson Road, brandished a knife and attempted a robbery but failed to get into the till.

Thursday, Feb. 21

• Two Portland women were arrested on charges of theft in connection with the removal of goods valued at $219 from a store in the 3100 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A silver Nike backpack with a Lenovo laptop computer valued at $2,084 were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 16000 block of Southwest Blackbird Drive.

Friday, Feb. 22

• A backpack and a wallet were reported stolen when someone broke a vehicle window in the 1200 block of Northwest Waterhouse Avenue.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and aggravated harassment in connection with damage estimated at $250 at an apartment complex in the 300 block of Northwest Island Circle.

• A laptop computer valued at $1,500 was reported stolen from a business in the 15000 block of Southwest Jenkins Road.

• A Beaverton man and an Oregon City woman were arrested on multiple charges, including a felon in possession of a restricted weapon and carrying a concealed weapon, at Southwest Canyon Road and Watson Avenue.

Saturday, Feb. 23

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine at the Beaverton Transit Center.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and reckless driving on the Sunset Highway eastbound at Southwest Canyon Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of burglary, identity theft and unlawful entry into a vehicle in the 11000 block of Southwest 7th Street. A Washington County sheriff's dog tracked down the man, who attempted a residential break-in and was found inside a van nearby.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 3800 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Murray Boulevard and Hart Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and reckless driving in the 7200 block of Southwest Trillium Court after someone reported him speeding, crossing traffic lanes and tailgating.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of interfering with police and resisting arrest in connection with an investigation of domestic violence in the 13000 block of Southwest 6th Street.

• A purse, backpack and headphones valued at $1,500 were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 14000 block of Southwest Kentucky Place.

• A man and a woman, both from Portland, were arrested on charges of theft in connection with the removal of clothes valued at $932 from a store in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• Appliances valued at $9,000 were reported stolen from a vacant home in the 9800 block of Southwest 153rd Avenue.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of harassment and criminal mischief in connection with damaging mobile phones and grabbing his victim during a dispute in the 3200 block of Southwest 170th Avenue.

• A business in the 14000 block of Southwest Allen Boulevard was robbed of an unspecified amount of cash after a masked person entered, motioned to his waistband and demanded money.

• Wallets were reported stolen from three lockers at a business in the 4100 block of Southwest Watson Avenue.

• A man and a woman, both transients, were arrested at the Beaverton Transit Center on charges of theft in connection with the removal of goods from businesses in the 11000 block of Southwest Canyon Road and Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. The man also faces felony charges of distribution of heroin and possession of heroin and methamphetamine.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with the removal of goods valued at $942 from a store in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

Sunday, Feb. 24

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and 135th Avenue.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after she was found to be passed out in a vehicle in the drive-through of a business in the 3400 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A man and a woman, both transients, were arrested on charges of theft in connection with the removal of goods from a store in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A green 1992 GMC Sierra was reported stolen from a business in the 6800 block of Southwest 111th Avenue.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and reckless driving at Southwest Farmington Road and Tucker Avenue.

TIGARD

Over the last week, the following arrest charges were made by Tigard police: arrest warrants, 8; assaulting a public safety officer, 1; criminal mischief, 1; disorderly conduct, 2; DUIIs, 2; harassment (domestic violence), 1; strangulation (domestic violence-felony), 1; interfering with peace officer, 2; parole violation, 1; and possession of controlled substance, 2.

Tuesday, Feb. 19

• An unwanted individual was reported in the laundry mat in the 14300 block of Pacific Highway even after the business had closed.

• Police responded to an incident of road rage at Roy Rogers Road and Scholls Ferry Road. One of the motorist claimed the other was trying to run into hi on purpose. Both motorists were given warnings.

• A resident in the 16100 block of 108th Avenue reported someone took a backpack from their apartment containing Bose headphones, an iPad and MacBook.

• A landlord in the 9600 block of North Dakota Street called to report they believe a tenant may be using or selling drugs.

• A store at Washington Square Mall reported four teens allegedly stole $300 worth of clothing.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

• A homeless woman was reported in a sleeping bag outside a building on the sidewalk in front of a business in the 10600 block of McDonald Street. She was advised to go to St. Anthony Catholic Church for food and shelter for the night.

• A resident in the 16100 block of 108th Avenue reported his backpack containing a laptop, iPad, headphones and a smart phone were taken from his residence.

• A business in the 9000 block of Hall Boulevard reported the theft of anywhere between $600 to $700 in appliances with the suspect fleeing in a gold Ford sedan.

• A passersby found a 4 or 5-year-old boy wondering around the 9500 block of Greenburg Road, who wasn't able to speak. Police arrived and were able to find the boy's mother.

• A convenience store clerk in the 12100 block of Scholls Ferry Road reported an individual left the store after stealing some beer. However he came back in with the beer, argued with the clerk and left without the beer.

Thursday, Feb. 21

• A resident in the 11800 block of 91st Avenue said another tenant threatened to kill here

• A 2001 silver Honda CRV was reported stolen from the Washington Square parking lot.

• Someone reported his checkbook and Costco cards were stolen from his vehicle parked in the 7800 block of Dartmouth Street. The checks were used to make $2,400 in purchases from two other Costco stores in the metro area.

• A resident of the 11600 block of Lomita Avenue reported someone stole license plates from two of his vehicles.

• A suspect reportedly was counterfeiting $80 each bottle-return receipts.

• A man who was getting into a dumpster in the 10200 was reported staring down the cleaning crew. The property owner said the man had been sleeping in the dumpster at one point and he wanted him "trespassed" from the location.

• A motorist in the 11500 block of Pacific Highway was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants after he reportedly tried to run over people in the parking lot as well. Defiant with officers and refusing a breathalyzer test, he was also charged with interfering with a police officer and other charges before being taken to Washington County Jail.

Friday, Feb. 22

• Police aided a bus driver who needed help dealing with a belligerent passenger in the 8900 block of Commercial Street.

• Washington Square Mall security officials referred a fraud case to Tigard detectives involving a secret-shopper situation where a Chicago resident was asked to purchase $6,750 worth of gift cards with the agreement he would receive checks totaling $7,900. The checks turned out to be fake and the gift cards were used to make purchases at a Tigard store.

• A man threatening to kill a TriMet bus driver at Washington Square Mall was "trespassed" from the location.

• The theft of a package containing a pair of $1,000 headphones was reported from a residence in the 9900 block of Walnut Street.

• A vehicle parked in the 10300 block of Johnson Street had reportedly been broken into the night before with expensive sunglasses and electronics taken.

Officers arrested a man and woman on charges of disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer following a fight in the 13000 block of 68th Parkway.

Saturday, Feb. 23

• A church in the 11900 block of Pacific Highway reported a burglary involving the theft of electronics after a door to the church was found pried open.

License plates were reported stolen from a Saturn parked at an apartment in the 9900 block of Frewing Street.

• A resident reported someone tried to steal his car after cutting into the vehicle's soft top and also cracking the steering column.

• A laptop, headphones and clothes were reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked in the Washington Square Mall shopping complex.

• A resident called to report someone called her claiming to be with the Department of Justice and told her to go to Safeway and buy Google Play gift cards. She didn't give them any money but wanted to talk to an officer.

• A 1998 Honda Civic Hatchback was reported stolen from the Washington Square Mall parking lot.

Monday, Feb. 25

• A property owner in the 7600 block of Beveland Road called to report they wanted individuals camping on their property "trespassed."

• A fraud investigator called to report a fraudulent check written for $2,791 had been written on Jan. 8.

• A resident who reported a stolen wallet said someone had just made a purchase on their account at the Tualatin Fred Meyer.

• Washington Square Mall security called to report a woman had stolen approximately $1,000 worth of merchandise.

TUALATIN

From Feb. 19 through 25, Tualatin police responded to 503 calls for service, making 11 arrests and reported 14 traffic crashes.

Tuesday, Feb. 19

• A man was arrested for harassment.

• A resident reported a case of possible identity theft was reported in the 18675 block of Boones Ferry Road.

• Unknown individuals were reported have been trying to extort money from a victim.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

• A man was arrested for driving while suspended.

• A man was arrested in a case of false swearing after he attempted to purchase a firearm from a location at 7500 Nyberg Street.

• A case of second-degree criminal mischief was reported after graffiti was reported at Tualatin Community Park.

• Someone called to report a case of shoplifting after a woman stole cosmetic items for a store in the 7300 block of Bridgeport Road.

Police cited someone for driving while suspended.

Thursday, Feb. 21

• A BMX bicycle was recovered by police.

• Unknown individuals siphoned gas from a victim's vehicle in the 19380 block of 118th Avenue.

• A cell phone was stolen from the lottery room at a restaurant in the 19365 block of Martinazzi Avenue.

Friday, Feb. 22

• A man was arrested for interfering with a police officer in the 7600 block of Nyberg Street.

• A subject was arrested for probation violation and possession of drugs in the 19200 block of Martinazzi Avenue.

Saturday, Feb. 23

• A woman alleged she was assaulted by her roommate in the 8300 block of Mohawk Street.

Saturday, Feb. 24

• A woman was taken into custody on an arrest warrant.

• A man was taken into custody on a detainer-probation violation.

Sunday, Feb. 25

• A case of burglary was reported in the 21700 block of Hedges Drive after someone attempted to enter a victim's residence.
