BEAVERTON

Friday, March 15

• A Tigard man was arrested on a charge of identity theft near Southwest Hocken Avenue and Tualatin Valley Highway.

• A Tigard man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 14000 block of Southwest Murray Scholls Drive.

• A black bag with a bar-code scanner and several items, all belonging to the Beaverton School District, were reported stolen when someone smashed a vehicle window in the 11000 block of Southwest Barnes Road.

• A Portland woman was arrested on charges of drunken driving and reckless driving after a crash at Southwest Murray Boulevard and Tualatin Valley Highway.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of distribution of LSD at Southwest 5th Street and Tucker Avenue, within 1,000 feet of a school.

Saturday, March 16

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of possession of counterfeit currency and a violation of a no-contact order in the 5000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and misdemeanor possession of cocaine at Southwest Farmington Road and Murray Boulevard.

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of controlled substances and disorderly conduct at Highway 217 northbound at Southwest Greenburg Road.

Sunday, March 17

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of harassment and criminal mischief in connection with pushing his ex-girlfriend and kicking a hole in her bathroom door during an argument in the 4800 block of Southwest Menlo Avenue.

• A Hillsboro woman was arrested on a charge of interfering with public transportation at the Elmonica MAX station.

• Power tools valued at $400 were reported stolen from the 14000 block of Southwest 27th Court.

• Seven game controllers valued at $420 were reported stolen from a store in the 3000 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A Woodburn man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after a minor crash in the 8500 block of Southwest Nimbus Avenue.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Rossi Terrace and Tallman Lane.

Monday, March 18

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving, and a Hillsboro woman on a charge of giving false information to police, at Southwest Murray Boulevard and Linda Lane.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Murray Boulevard and Farmington Road.

• A Tualatin man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine in the 11000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• Goods valued at $1,100 were reported stolen from a storage unit in the 14000 block of Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway. A surveillance camera showed two men removing the goods.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after he struck a stopped car on the Highway 217 southbound off-ramp to Southwest Allen Boulevard.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on charges of harassment and disorderly conduct in connection with punching her adult daughter and creating a ruckus in an apartment complex in the 15000 block of Southwest Teal Boulevard.

Tuesday, March 19

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after a crash at Southwest Conestoga Drive and Boones Bend Drive.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and Davies Road.

• A green electric golf cart was reported stolen from an apartment complex in the 10000 block of Southwest Taylor Street.

• Two Portland men were arrested on warrants, one of them also on a charge of theft, in connection with the removal of goods from a store in the 4400 block of Southwest 110th Avenue.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on multiple charges, including drunken driving, while backing out of a parking stall in the 15000 block of Southwest Barrows Road. Police said he almost struck a pedestrian.

Thursday, March 21

• A Tigard man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and 187th Avenue.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of failure to provide his name and date of birth to police after he committed a pedestrian violation in the 4500 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard. He gave police a Japanese name, could not recall his birthday, and spoke Japanese fluently. But he stared blankly when an officer asked him a simple question in Japanese.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest 125th Avenue and Conestoga Drive en route to picking up her son at Southridge High School.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard and Jenkins Road.

Friday, March 22

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at the Sunset Highway westbound off-ramp at Northwest Murray Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of second-degree assault (a felony), misdemeanor assault and a warrant at Southwest Main Avenue and Daly Lane.

• A transient man was arrested on a charge of identity theft and two warrants in the 11000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• Two transient men were arrested on charges of theft, one of them on multiple charges including robbery, at a store in the 11000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A silver 2019 Ford F150 truck was reported stolen from a lot in the 12000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A block 2002 Honda Accord was reported stolen in the 2900 block of Southwest 153rd Drive.

• A man told police that someone knocked him out and stole his wallet while he was on Southwest Rose Biggi Avenue between Westgate Drive and Crescent Street.

• A 1996 dark green Ford Explorer was reported stolen from the park-and-ride lot in the 14000 block of Southwest Millikan Way.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and 153rd Avenue.

Saturday, March 23

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Farmington Road and Hocken Avenue as he was riding a bicycle from Broadway Saloon to his home.

• A Welches man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving while attempting deliveries in the 14000 block of Southwest Murray Scholls Drive.

• Someone smashed a window to grab a purse from a vehicle in the 8500 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of distribution and felony possession of heroin and methamphetamine, plus three warrants and three charges of forgery and theft, at Southwest Remudo Lane and Sorrento Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and three counts of recklessly endangering another person at Southwest Farmington Road and Watson Avenue.

Sunday, March 24

• A Portland man was arrested on charges of forgery in connection with possessing $181 in counterfeit money in the 10000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 11000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with the removal of 43 real estate signs from seven companies and defacing of another sign.

TIGARD

Over the last week, Tigard police made 37 total arrests including the following arrests charges: Shoplifting, 11; arrest warrant, 8; possession of a controlled substance, 7; disorderly conduct, 5; interfering with a police officer, 4; unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, 3, DUII, 2 and felon in possession of a restricted weapon, 2.

Tuesday, March 19

• Officers arrested a man at Pacific Highway and Gaarde Street for driving under the influence of intoxicants (a controlled substance) and possession of a controlled substance following a report that he was repeatedly switching lanes while driving and constantly braking. A K9 team was called in when it became apparent he was under the influence of something with the dog finding a glass pipe with likely drug residue inside.

• Cash, sunglasses, tools and a phone charger were stolen from a center console of a pickup that was broken into in the 9500 block of Greenburg Road.

Stereo subwoofers were stolen from the trunk of a car parked in the 14600 block of Sequoia Parkway.

• A resident reported that a man who had purchased her air compressor on Offer Up had given her counterfeit $50 bills for payment.

Police recovered a 1987 Toyota 4-Runner stolen out of Tualatin in a parking lot in the 16300 block of 72nd Avenue.

Wednesday, March 20

• A man spray-painting his car in a parking lot in the 16200 block of Pacific Highway was arrested after an officer discovered he was wanted for armed robbery out of Vancouver, Wash.

• A 1996 Honda Accord, reported stolen out of Beaverton, was recovered from the 7800 block of Gentle Woods Drive.

• An individual was reported living in a motor home in a business lot in the 12000 block of Main Street.

Someone reported three teens fighting at a bus stop at Hall Boulevard and Durham Road. One male apparently had his shirt ripped off.

• An officer took a report involving three fraudulent checks being charged to a business account.

• A woman in Massachusetts reported a case of fraud after she was contacted by an "officer" there who said he was investigating the murder of a drug dealer and that officials found personal information about the woman, including the woman's social security number, on the murdered individual. The man who was pretending to be an officer then told the woman to purchase a $450 Apple Gift Card to make sure her bank account hadn't been compromised. The card was spent at Washington Square Mall before she realized it was a scam.

• A juvenile was arrested for second-degree shoplifting at Washington Square Mall after allegedly stealing clothing valued at $200.

Thursday, March 21

• An overnight burglary at a construction site in the 9000 block of Oak Street resulted in the loss of tools valued at $2,000 or more.

• Medical Teams International reported money stolen during a wire transfer.

• A case of fraud was reported after someone opened a Bank of America account in the victim's name.

• A victim reported for the second night in a row, someone entered a backyard in the 11700 block of 121st Avenue and tried to cut down trees.

Someone selling an Invicta watch for $400 on the Letgo app discovered she was paid in counterfeit bills.

• Another case of fraud was being investigated where an individual used the Letgo app to buy a refrigerator and furniture for $2,000.

• A $850 tax return check was stolen and cashed from a mailbox in the 13100 block of Morningstar Drive.

• A man who stole an oxygen bag from a vehicle was charged with first-degree theft as well as five counts of possession of a controlled substance.

• A victim who lives in Florida reported a case of fraud and asked Tigard police and security officials if they might have video of the person who cashed iTune cards with a total value of $2,200 at Washington Square Mall.

• A resident reported a case of fraud after someone used her information to apply for a line of credit.

Friday, March 22

• A 2000 white VW Passat was stolen from the 14100 block of 98th Court while victim was at work.

• A man was arrested for shoplifting after he was observed stealing wireless Beats Studio headphones valued at $349 from a store at Washington Square Mall.

• A man was arrested for allegedly stealing Bose headphones valued at $350 from Washington Square Mall.

• An officer cited and released a juvenile to a parent after he shoplifted $100 in items and tried to flee from loss prevention officers.

• A prowler was reported in the 12300 block of 72nd Avenue after a tenant reported hearing rattling near her bedroom. When she entered her living room, she someone standing on her patio who fled when he saw her.

Saturday, March 23

• Officers gave a 10-day warning to individuals in a transient camp at 98th Avenue and Commercial Street after reports they were making a massive mess between the pond and the railroad crossing.

• Two men were arrested in the 10700 block of Greenburg Road following a report of fight. Charges included disorderly conduct, interfering with a police officer, felon in possession of a weapon and harassment after the pair continue to fight.

• A officer arrested a woman on outstanding warrants and for being a felon in possession of a weapon after a report of an individual refusing to leave a motorhome in the 13100 block of Watkins Avenue.

Officers took a report related to two men who allegedly shoplifted $130 worth of Nike clothing from Washington Square Mall.

• Two Ford Econoline moving trucks were stolen from the 7200 block of Durham Road. One of the trucks was later recovered.

Sunday, March 24

• A Portland man was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and other charges after refusing numerous requests to leave a Trimet bus parked at Pacific Highway and Main Street. He was lodged at Washington County Jail.

• With the help of Lake Oswego and Tualatin police officers, a Tigard officer arrested a Portland man for trying to steal a truck in the 16700 block of 72nd Avenue.

TUALATIN

Between March 19 and 25, Tualatin police responded to a total of 548 calls for service including seven traffic crashes. They made a total of 10 arrests.

Tuesday, March 19

• The theft of a car stereo was reported from a vehicle parked in the 19400 block of Tualatin Road.

Wednesday, March 20

• Three men were arrested on outstanding warrants. One of those men was arrested for violation of a restraining order.

• Graffiti was reported in front of the former Haggen's grocery store.

Thursday, March 21

• A toolbox and jumper cables were reported stolen out of a locked vehicle in the 6400 block of Nyberg Lane.

• A potentially fraudulent Washington driver's license was found in the 7900 block of Seneca Street.

Friday, March 22

• A motorist was cited in lieu of custody for driving under the influence of intoxicants at I-5 and I-205.

• A car was broken into in the 18000 block of Lower Boones Ferry Road with items stolen.

• A suspect was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 19200 block of Martinazzi Avenue.

• A resident was arrested in the 17900 block of 105th Court for violations of a restraining order.

• Identity theft was reported after a victim discovered a credit card account had been opened in her name without her knowledge.

Saturday, March 23

• Criminal mischief was reported after a victim's vehicle was reported damaged in the 8900 block of Sweek Drive.

• A man was arrested in the 7400 block of Nyberg Street for harassment, third-degree criminal mischief and interfering with a police officer.

Sunday, March 24

• A license plate was reported stolen off a vehicle parked in the 17900 block of Lower Boones Ferry Road.
