The following reports were issued by police in Beaverton, Tigard and Tualatin.

BEAVERTON

Monday, April 1

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on charges of criminal trespass and improper use of an emergency line when he refused to leave his ex-girlfriend's apartment in the 100 block of Southwest 163rd Avenue, then called police for a welfare check while police were still on the scene.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and felony possession of methamphetamine in connection with damage at a business in the 12000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• Two iPhones valued at $2,100 were reported stolen from a store in the 15000 block of Southwest Barrows Road. A store clerk attempted to stop the two men by holding onto a cable to which the phones were attached and suffered minor injuries. The cable was also damaged.

• A seller reported to police that the $1,300 he received for the sale of a motorcycle in the 15000 block of Southwest Jenkins Road was in counterfeit currency.

Tuesday, April 2

• A red 2013 Kia Rio was reported stolen in the 13000 block of Southwest Barlow Road.

• A purse was reported stolen when someone broke the driver-side window of a vehicle in the 100 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

• A locked bicycle valued at $300 was reported stolen in the 4500 block of Southwest Angel Drive.

• A green 1994 Honda Accord was reported stolen in the 12000 block of Southwest Sussex Street.

• A black 2017 Chevrolet Impala was reported stolen from a business in the 12000 block of Southwest Canyon Road. Police report that the suspects wrote a check on a closed bank account for the purchase.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving after he struck another vehicle at Northwest Murray Boulevard and Mill Creek Drive.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of failure to display a driver license – and an inventory of the vehicle turned up commercial-grade spools of wire, valued at $1,013, that had been stolen from a store in the 4400 block of Southwest 110th Avenue.

• A MacBook laptop computer belonging to Nike, $1,100 in cash and a pair of headphones were reported stolen when someone broke a vehicle window in the 2800 block of Southwest Hocken Avenue.

• Cash estimated at $200 was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 8600 block of Southwest Birchwood Road.

Wednesday, April 3

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of distribution and felony possession of heroin and methamphetamine, and a felon in possession of a weapon, after a stop at Southwest Allen Boulevard and Alger Avenue.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of felony strangulation in connection with an assault on his girlfriend in the 600 block of Southwest 150th Avenue.

• Tools valued at $600 and other items were reported stolen when someone broke vehicle windows in the 6700 block of Southwest 111th Avenue.

• A Portland woman was arrested on charges of drunken driving and reckless driving at Southwest Hall Boulevard and Denney Road.

Thursday, April 4

• A burgundy 1995 Honda Accord station wagon was reported stolen in the 14000 block of Southwest Osprey Drive.

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine in the 9000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard.

Friday, April 5

• A Portland woman was arrested on multiple charges, including a felony attempt to elude police, at Interstate 5 southbound and Southwest Bonita Road in Tigard. A Tigard woman and a transient man were arrested on other charges.

Saturday, April 6

• A tanzanite ring valued at $1,817 was reported missing from a home in the 5800 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at the Barnes Road off-ramp of Sunset Highway westbound.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and reckless driving at Southwest Hall Boulevard and 9th Street.

• A Renton, Wash., man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest 114th Avenue and Canyon Road.

• A transient man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine at Southwest 6th Street and Redbud Way.

• Cash estimated at $50,000 was reported stolen from boxes at a business in the 9300 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway.

• A wedding ring valued at $2,823 was reported stolen from a home in the 12000 block of Southwest 14th Street.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of theft and criminal trespass in connection with the removal of tools valued at $683 from a store in the 4400 block of Southwest 110th Avenue.

• A Tigard woman was arrested on a charge of felony possession of heroin in the 15000 block of Southwest Walker Road.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle after he crashed into another car eastbound on the Sunset Highway at Northwest Murray Boulevard. He fled, but after police caught him, it was found he did not have permission to drive the car.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Farmington Road and Hall Boulevard.

Sunday, April 7

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 15000 block of Southwest Walker Road after a reported hit-and-run incident.

• A mobile phone valued at $500 was reported stolen when someone fell asleep on a bus near Southwest Canyon Road and Cedar Hills Boulevard and found it gone when he woke up.

TIGARD

Thursday, April 4

• Police recovered a stolen 1999 Ford E250 pick up behind a laundromat in the 11900 block of Pacific Highway.

• The theft of a 2010 Toyota Corolla was reported in the 14600 block of 76th Avenue.

• A vehicle was reported broken into in the 8000 block of Viola Street.

• A video camera picked up someone trying to open the doors of a vehicle parked in the 11400 block of Pacific Highway.

• Two pressure washers, two pole saws and a 5-gallon can of gas were stolen from a shed in the 9700 block of Durham Road.

• A clerk reported a woman paid for merchandise at Washington Square Mall with a counterfeit $100 bill.

• Officers arrested a man for the theft of mail at Walnut Street and 121st Avenue. Tipped off by a neighbor, police retrieved the package, which contained gifts for kids and cash. They returned it to its owner.

Friday, April 5

• Police arrested a man on an outstanding warrant in the 13600 block of Pacific Highway after he was asked to leave a business but refused to do so.

• Officers cited a Tigard man for harassment after he reportedly punched the hand of a former employer in a home improvement store in the 14800 block of Sequoia Parkway. He also threatened the man's family.

• A resident reported what she believed to be a drug deal going down in the 14300 block of Barrows Road.

• Someone reported an ongoing issue of people parking their cars and doing drugs in the 15800 block of Hall Boulevard.

• An officer took a report of two $100 counterfeit bills passed at a store at Washington Square Mall.

• While checking a complex in the 11900 block of Pacific Highway, officers recognized a Tigard man wanted on a felony arrest warrant. The man fled onto the highway into rush-hour traffic but was detained by a Good Samaritan. He was soon arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer.

Saturday, April 6

• Officers arrested a Hubbard man for driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended after being observed leaving a bar and weaving in and out of traffic lanes along Pacific Highway. The driver refused a breathalyzer test but the officer obtained a warrant to have the motorist's blood drawn.

• A man who refused to get off a TriMet bus in the 8900 block of Commercial Street turned out to be an individual reported missing from a group home. Officers returned the man to that home.

• A man in a red Honda Prelude was warned about a municipal ordinance on camping after someone reported he had been parked along the 11300 block of Springwood Drive for at least the last three days.

• A resident in the 7700 block of Pfaffle Street reported his mailbox had been broken into.

• A welding tank and a rifle were taken from a residence in the 8600 block of Oak Street.

• A box of tools, valued at $800, was taken from the bed of a truck in the 15700 block of Upper Boones Ferry Road.

• Police arrested a Portland man for physically menacing and harassment (physical contact), along with second-degree shoplifting and possession of a theft device, after responding to a report of a theft in progress at Northface Clothing at Washington Square Mall.

• Police arrested a man for driving under the influence of intoxicants following a report his vehicle had hydroplaned into a center divider at Highway 217 and Greenburg Road. His blood alcohol level was .16%, two times over the legal amount to be considered intoxicated.

Sunday, April 7

• Police responded to a report of a man making threats with a fork outside a store in the 15500 block of Pacific Highway. However, police could not locate the individual.

• A clerk at Washington Square Mall reported the theft of a $1,200 handbag by two men but planned to check with the store's loss prevention employee before filing an official report.

• Police recovered a 1995 black Subaru Legacy after neighbors discovered it parked in the 15900 block of Century Oak Circle for the last two weeks.

• A man was arrested for disorderly conduct, identity theft and an outstanding arrest warrant at Hall Boulevard and Pacific Highway. When he was contacted, the man exhibited signs of being intoxicated and gave police a stolen driver's license for ID.

Monday, April 8

• A 2019 Kia Sol was reported stolen from an apartment complex in the 10900 block of Hall Boulevard.

• A man was arrested after allegedly shoplifting an 18-pack of beer at a store in the 11800 block of Pacific Highway. He was quickly apprehended because he was consuming the beers he had stolen close to the business where he took them from.

TUALATIN

Between April 2 and 8, Tualatin police responded to a total of 530 calls including 17 traffic crashes. A total of 10 arrests were made.

Wednesday, April 3

• A theft from a vehicle was reported from a vehicle parked at a health club in the 7405 block of Nyberg Street.

• Someone stole the license plate of a vehicle parked in the 8300 block of Mohawk Street.

• Officers arrested a man for shoplifting at Bridgeport Village.

Thursday, April 4

• A vehicle was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 9720 block of Tualatin Road.

• A man was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon.

• An unwanted individual was "trespassed" from Bridgeport Village.

• Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle was reported in the 9900 block of Tualatin-Sherwood Road.

• Officers cited and released someone for second-degree trespassing in the 8500 block of Warm Springs Street.

Friday, April 5

• A car was reported stolen from the 18700 block of Boones Ferry Road.

• A resident reported being scammed out of money by an unknown individual.

• The window of a vehicle was reported damaged during a car break-in.

• A vehicle was reported to have driven off the road causing damage to city-owned property.

Saturday, April 6

• A traffic crash involving a pedestrian was reported at Boones Ferry and Tualatin-Sherwood Road.

Monday, April 8

• Someone broke into a location in the 11500 block of Myslony Street and stole wiring from light poles.
