The following reports were issued by police in Beaverton, Tigard and Tualatin.

BEAVERTON

Monday, May 6

• A transient man was arrested on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drugs near Southwest Jenkins Road and Murray Boulevard, where he was found passed out in the woods.

• A transient woman was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine near Southwest 172nd Avenue and Blanton Street.

• Two purses were reported stolen in two vehicle break-ins at Tualatin Hills Nature Park.

• A gray 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe was reported stolen from a business in the 13000 block of Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway.

Tuesday, May 7

• A Gresham woman was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of controlled substances at Highway 217 northbound at Southwest Canyon Road. She was found driving on three flat tires.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of methamphetamine at Southwest Canyon and Walker roads. He and a Beaverton woman were arrested on felony warrants.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Murray and Allen boulevards.

• A transient woman was arrested on a charge of interfering with public transportation in connection with failure to pay a fare on a TriMet bus at the Beaverton Transit Center.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of animal neglect in connection with leaving a dog in a kennel inside a minivan for 90 minutes with the outside temperature at 76. The incident took place in the 12000 block of Southwest Horizon Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle in the 900 block of Southwest 163rd Avenue.

Wednesday, May 8

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Allen Boulevard and Western Avenue.

• Computer equipment valued at more than $4,300 and clothing valued at $400 were reported stolen from an open vehicle in the 9200 block of Southwest 146th Terrace.

Thursday, May 9

• A Portland woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Highway 217 southbound at Southwest Walker Road.

• Two mobile phones valued at $2,000, clothing valued at $260 and other items were reported stolen from a truck in the 7700 block of Southwest Matheny Drive.

• A woman from Lake Forest Park, Wash., was arrested on a charge of theft in connection with the removal of goods valued at $699 from a store in the 4400 block of Southwest 110th Avenue.

Friday, May 10

• A Fairview woman was arrested on charges of burglary, theft, possession of a stolen vehicle and unauthorized use of a vehicle in the 14000 block of Southwest Allen Boulevard. A Beaverton man with her was arrested on a parole violation.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon, resisting arrest and interfering with police at Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and 160th Avenue.

• Two thieves drilled into a coin machine at a self-service laundry in the 6100 block of Southwest Lombard Avenue and reportedly took more than $1,000. Their images were caught on a surveillance camera.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 15000 block of Southwest Barcelona Way after a traffic crash.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving in the 17000 block of West Baseline Road.

Saturday, May 11

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving, attempting to elude police, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person after a crash at Southwest Cascade Avenue and Hall Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor assault in connection with hitting a woman and bruising her arm in the 11000 block of Southwest Adele Drive.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor assault in connection with punching a man and a woman in the face during a disturbance in the 17000 block of Northwest Evergreen Place.

• A mobile phone valued at $500, a wallet with identification and debit card were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 10000 block of Southwest 135th Avenue. The phone was recovered a block away, but the other items were still missing.

• A 2005 silver Nissan Altima was reported stolen in the 9000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on two charges of disorderly conduct and violating a release agreement in connection with pounding on a vehicle window in the 16000 block of Northwest Schendel Avenue.

• A transient woman was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and interfering with police in connection with causing a disturbance at a store in the 3000 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard, using a broom handle to hit objects and damage a glass door, and refusing to heed police commands to stop.

Sunday, May 12

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Jenkins Road and Meridian Street.

• A Portland man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Millikan Way and 141st Avenue after he crashed into a sidewalk.

• A Forest Grove woman was arrested on a charge of unlawful entry into a vehicle in the 8300 block of Southwest Berryhill Lane, where she was found asleep inside.

• Marijuana, a bong and a wallet valued at $300 were reported stolen from an apartment in the 14000 block of Southwest Scholls Ferry Road after the resident took his dog out for a walk and left the door unlocked.

TIGARD

Over the last week, Tigard police made 20 arrests comprised of the following charges: shoplifting, 4; unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, 4; arrest warrants, 3; assaults, 3; theft from a vehicle, 3; driving while suspended/revoked, 2; driving under the influence of intoxicants, 2; possession of a controlled substance, 2; aggravated theft, 1; and burglary, 1.

Thursday, May 9

• Police responded to a report of a van that pulled up to a wooded area behind the 15100 block of Royalty Parkway and unloaded a bunch of furniture to campers at that location. They were told the property owner wanted them to move on.

• A man was arrested for shoplifting after allegedly putting more than $100 of food in a duffle bag and not paying for it at a store in the 11700 block of Pacific Highway.

• A woman was arrested on a driving under the influence of intoxicants charge following a report from a caller who said she hit a center divider. When police arrived, she tested negative for a breathalyzer test but a Drug Recognition Expert determined she was impaired. She was taken to Washington County Jail.

• A suspicious person was reported walking down the middle of the road in the 10900 block of 68th Parkway. When a driver told him to use a sidewalk, the man pretended to pull a gun on him.

• An officer left his business card on a vehicle that had been broken into, letting the owner know he had recovered his when arresting two subjects for breaking into his vehicle.

Friday, May 10

• Thieves reportedly entered a Toyota Highlander parked in the 12900 block of Pacific Highway where they removed a stereo, house keys, a car battery and cash.

• A 2006 Ford F-250 was broken into in the 11800 block of Summer Crest Drive with gas credit cards and a gate entry key stolen.

• A store clerk reported that a man tried to purchase a Slurpee drink with a counterfeit $100 bill but fled on foot when confronted.

• Someone called to report a woman sitting near an elementary school in the 9500 block of Murdock Street, holding a sign that read: "I need hugs and kisses."

• Officers arrested a woman for allegedly stealing more than $500 in jewelry and clothing from a Washington Square Mall store.

Saturday, May 11

• A suspicious person, who may have been intoxicated, appeared to enter a home in the 12700 block of Springwood Drive. The resident there started yelling at him to leave and he did.

• A man had his 2001 GMC Yukon stolen from the 11500 block of Pacific Highway after accidentally leaving the keys inside. Police recovered his vehicle about an hour later.

• A 2019 Ford Escape and 2016 Kia were broken into overnight from a residence in the 11000 block of 115th Avenue. Nothing of significance appeared to have been taken.

• A resident reported being scammed out of $1,900.

• Medical personnel reported a man was assaulted outside of Washington Square Mall by two men who tried to take his coach bag. The man, who was hit in the nose, said he didn't want to press charges, file a report or answer any more questions.

Sunday, May 12

• A woman reported being scammed online, losing an estimated $6,000, by sending money orders and gift cards, to a man claiming to be in the military and needing money to return home.

TUALATIN

From May 7 through 13, Tualatin police received 541 calls for service including responding to 9 traffic crashes and making 6 total arrests.

Monday, May 6

• A vehicle was recovered from the 19400 block of Boones Ferry Road.

• An unknown person used a victim's credit card to purchase items at the Best Buy store.

• An unknown person used a victim's credit card to make purchases at a local Safeway store.

• A man reported someone had shot at his vehicle in the 20000 block of 112th Avenue with a BB gun.

Tuesday, May 7

• A vehicle parked in the 7800 block of Sagert Street was reported to have been broken into.

• A victim had their belongings taken from a gym in the 18100 block of Lower Boones Ferry Road.

• Lost or stolen credit cards resulted in $10,000 worth of purchases for the victim.

• A woman engaged in violent behavior and resisting arrest was arrested in the 12000 block of Tualatin Road.

• Someone stole a 1988 Toyota Camry from a business in the 7600 block of Nyberg Street.

Thursday, May 9

• A vehicle parked in the 17900 block of McEwan Road was broken into and miscellaneous items stolen.

Friday, May 10

• A resident in the 6600 block of Napa Court was arrested for violating a restraining order.

• A handgun was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 9400 block of Cherry Lane.

• An iPhone was reported stolen from a restroom at Tualatin High School.

Saturday, May 11

• A man wanted on a misdemeanor warrant was charged with resisting arrest and interfering with a police officer in the 8600 block of Tualatin Road.

• An Apple iWatch was reported stolen from a Bridgeport Village business.

An individual pulled over for a traffic stop was arrested after it was discovered they were wanted on two misdemeanor warrants. In addition, they were charged with providing false information to a police officer and reckless driving.

Sunday, May 12

• A man was arrested in the area of Tachi Court and Martinazzi Avenue for aggravated harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

Monday, May 13

• Someone cut a power cord running into a construction trailer and stole the $300 item from a location in the 21400 block of 115th Avenue.

• A resident reported someone had used his identity to open an account.

Someone broke into a vehicle in the 18000 block of Lower Boones Ferry Road and took items.
