Man arrested for sex trafficking minor in Beaverton
Beaverton detectives have arrested a Grants Pass man on charges of sex trafficking a 17-year-old minor.
Uriel Alberto-Toledo, 32, faces charges of compelling prostitution of a minor, a Measure 11 offense, and two counts of promoting prostitution.
The Beaverton Police Department says it went undercover and responded to an ad on a website that is known to be a hub for sex trafficking.
Police allege Alberto-Toledo dropped off the 17-year-old victim at an undisclosed location on Thursday, June 6, after making arrangements with authorities. Alberto-Toledo was subsequently arrested and taken to the Washington County jail.
According to court records, Alberto-Toledo has pleaded not guilty to all counts. He posted bail of $25,000 the day after his arrest.
