Wyden sets town hall in Beaverton
U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden plans a town hall meeting in Washington County.
The meeting will start at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at Conestoga Recreation and Aquatic Center, 9985 S.W. 125th Ave., Beaverton.
Meetings run for 90 minutes, and people who want to ask questions have tickets drawn at random.
The Oregon Democrat has pledged a town hall meeting in each of Oregon's 36 counties every year since he was elected to the Senate in January 1996. So far this year he has held 32 such meetings, including one Jan. 4 in Sherwood. According to his website, five counties remain, Linn County and four counties east of the Cascades.
