Second of three panels will focus on agencies whose mission is to advocate for those who have difficulty obtaining reasonably priced housing; a third panel on the topic is planned Oct. 28.

Housing advocates will speak at the second of three Washington County Public Affairs Forum programs focused on housing availability and affordability.

Lunch will start at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, and the program at noon, at Coyote's Bar and Grill, 5301 W. Baseline Rd., Hillsboro. Lunch can be ordered from the menu. The public is invited.

Two speakers have been announced for this forum. They are Nathan Teske, executive director of Bienestar, who will discuss farmworker housing, and Maria Caballero-Rubio, executive director of Centro Cultural de Washington County, which helps families find housing.

An Oct. 7 forum featured officials. A forum Oct. 28 will have builders and financiers.
