Beaverton man arrested in stabbing at Cedar Hills parking lot
A Beaverton man was arrested by Washington County sheriff's deputies in connection with a stabbing of a woman in the parking lot of a Cedar Hills convenience store.
The man was identified as Chad Michael Fish, 25, who faces charges of first- and second-degree assault — both subject to mandatory minimum prison terms under Oregon law — and unlawful use of a weapon. Bail was set at $250,000.
Deputies said Fish was involved in the stabbing of a 27-year-old woman about 11:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, in the parking lot of a Plaid Pantry convenience store at Southwest Butner Road near Walker Road and Murray Boulevard. A knife was found at the scene. Deputies said a disagreement preceded the stabbing.
The woman, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital.
