Beaverton officials will discuss emergency steps during conference call
Beaverton city officials will offer an update on their emergency efforts during a conference call being arranged by the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce.
The call is scheduled from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 9. Among the scheduled participants from the city emergency response team are Mayor Denny Doyle and interim Police Chief Ronda Groshong.
Doyle issued an emergency declaration on March 13. The City Council ratified it on March 17 and renewed it on March 31.
