Monday, Oct. 26

Officers arrested a man for criminal mischief at a residence in the 14000 block of Southwest Teal Boulevard after placing him under a mental health hold. While detained the man became uncooperative and damaged a patrol vehicle. He was later transported to an area hospital.

Officers arrested a woman for embezzlement after she was caught stealing over $1,900 in cash from her till over a two-month period while as an employee at Home Depot, 4401 S.W. 110th Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of a fight on a TriMet bus on Southwest Cornell Road near Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

Tuesday, Oct. 27

Officers took a report of theft from a Tigard Police Department K-9 officer who stated his Apple iPhone X was stolen during a training exercise at the Beaverton Operations Center, 9600 S.W. Allen Blvd.

Officers cited a transient man for drinking in public and offensive littering at the Cedar Hills Crossing Mall, 3205 S.W. Cedar Hills Blvd., after he urinated in a decorative plant in front of a store while drinking a can of beer.

Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief at Fir Grove Elementary, 6300 S.W. Wilson Avenue. The roof of the school and an HVAC system were tagged with graffiti.

Wednesday, Oct. 28

Officers responded to a report of attempted larceny and criminal mischief at Chase Bank, 8275 S.W. Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy. A suspect in a black Ford F350 attempted to remove an ATM machine from the location. No money was obtained but there was damage to the ATM.

Officers arrested a man for possession of heroin in the 5500 block of Southwest 107th Avenue after he was found passed out in a vehicle with a syringe in his hand.

Officers arrested a man for assault IV and menacing at the Peppertree Inn, 10720 S.W. Allen Blvd., after punching and kicking his girlfriend, causing visible injuries.

Thursday, Oct. 29

Officers took a report of a stolen vehicle at Coach's Bar & Grill, 10162 S.W. Park Way. The keys had been left in the vehicle while the customer was eating lunch.

Officers arrested a man for drinking in public at Big 5 Sporting Goods, 11975 S.W. Canyon Road, after he was found drinking a malt beverage outside the building.

Officers arrested a man on three outstanding warrants and for driving while suspended following a disturbance at the Birch Creek Apartments, 17570 N.W. Cornell Road.

Friday, Oct. 30

Officers responded to a report of found property at the Beaverton Liquor store, 11423 S.W. Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy., after a homeless man gave a knife to an employee and asked that it be turned over to police.

Officers arrested a transient woman for disorderly conduct and possession of methamphetamine on Southwest Farmington Road near Southwest 139th Avenue after throwing trash and screaming on a TriMet bus.

Officers arrested a man for drinking in public and indecent exposure at Fred Meyer, 11425 S.W. Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy., after displaying his genitalia in the store.

Saturday, Oct. 31

Officers responded to a burglary at a residence in the 6500 block of Southwest Vermont Street. The homeowners were awakened to an unknown man entering their bedroom. The suspect was chased out of the home and into the street.

Officers responded to report of attempted larceny at Unitus Credit Union, 10580 S.W. Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy., after two suspects in a red Doge pickup truck tried to take an ATM from the location.

Officers arrested a man for driving under the influence of intoxicants, possession of cocaine and reckless driving on Southwest Scholls Ferry Road near Southwest 125th Avenue after trying to drive into oncoming traffic while passing other vehicles.

Sunday, Nov. 1

Officers arrested a man for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving in the 7100 block of Southwest 27th Court after crashing his vehicle over the stairway at Hyland Park Middle School and then attempting to flee through neighboring back yards.

Officers arrested a transient man on an outstanding warrant at the ampm convenience store, 11925 S.W. Allen Blvd., after he called police to report a phone book that was on fire.

Officers arrested an intoxicated transient man for criminal mischief and interfering with a police officer at Fred Meyer, 11425 S.W. Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy., after breaking the side view mirror of a random vehicle in the parking lot and then fleeing from police.
