Monday, June 14
Officers arrested a 45-year-old transient man for criminal mischief at a residence in the 4800 block of Southwest 141st Avenue after he threw a rock through the kitchen window of the home.
Officers cited a 22-year-old man for interfering with public transportation and harassment at the Beaverton Transit Center, 4500 S.W. Lombard Ave., following a report of an unwanted person on a MAX train. While being cited he threatened to commit more crimes and said he would hunt down the responding officer.
Tuesday, June 15
Officers took a report of identity theft from a resident in the 12000 block of Southwest Center Street. A woman allowed a stranger to stay the night in her apartment and the next morning she discovered several items had been stolen including a computer, her identification and credit cards.
Officers arrested a 54-year-old transient man for criminal trespass at Qdoba Mexican Eats, 4655 S.W. Griffith Drive, after he accessed a crawl space under the restaurant and had been camping there for several days. He was also seen with a knife and hatchet in his hands and said that Jesus told him there was a dead body under the restaurant. No body was found.
Wednesday, June 16
Officers arrested a 24-year-old man for criminal trespass on Southwest 158th Avenue near Merlo Road. The man was upset about missing a train and decided to run down the railroad tracks instead.
Officers arrested a 60-year-old man for burglary and probation violation at a residence in the 13000 block of Southwest 17th Street after he allegedly broke into his sister's home.
Thursday, June 17
Officers took a report of forgery at Elmer's Restaurant, 1250 N.W. Waterhouse Ave. A man and woman exchanged three counterfeit $100 bills for change at the location.
Officers conducted a death investigation after a Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District employee found a dead body in the 10700 block of Southwest Denney Road.
Friday, June 18
Officers arrested a 44-year-old man for criminal mischief at Motel 6, 12255 S.W. Canyon Road. The man had been kicked out of the motel for being too loud, then returned and kicked in the door, he said, to retrieve his belongings.
Officers responded to a report of a missing person at Canfield Place, 14570 S.W. Hart Road. A male resident on medication left in his personal vehicle and had not returned since the previous evening.
