The Seaside resident suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 68-year-old Seaside woman was killed in a head-on collision Sunday afternoon with a Beaverton man on Highway 26 just south of Manning in Washington County, according to Oregon State Police.

Officials said the man crossed into the westbound lane in his GMC Sierra, which collided head-on with 68-year-old Lisa Lawson's Kia Soul. Her injuries were fatal, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The driver of the other car and his passenger, also of Beaverton, and the passenger of the Kia Soul, also of Seaside, were transported to a nearby hospital.

Highway 26, also known locally as Sunset Highway, was closed for four hours on Sunday, officials said.
