NOLA Doughnuts' third location coming to Beaverton May 22
Local New Orleans-style bakery NOLA Doughnuts will soon serve up its classic brioche doughnuts and beignets — plus a new menu — at a new location in Beaverton.
The new spot opens Sunday, May 22, in the Beaverton Town Square. The shop's first Washington County location joins two others in Lake Oswego and Portland's Pearl District.
Customers will also find NOLA's classic la'ssants, spice buns and other pastries, and its new breakfast and brunch menus feature frittatas, waffles, bread pudding, French toast, hand pies and breads.
"Having started at the Beaverton Farmers Market in 2015, NOLA's new location in many ways represents us revisiting our roots," said co-founder Connie DeMerell in a press release. "Our bakery is deeply rooted in food, family and community and we're hoping this new location will serve as a place for people to continue to come together to fill their bellies with delicious pastries that feed their souls with love."
The Beaverton store will also introduce new beverages, including traditional café au lait, beer, cider and wine. As part of the new offerings, NOLA will feature a regular beverage-of-the-month from around the Portland metro area.
NOLA's new location will have indoor, café-style seating with counter service, as well as outdoor seating in the breezeway nearby.
