The Beaverton Police Department reports calls for service between May 1-5, 2022.

Sunday, May 1

Officers responded to an alarm on Southwest Allen Boulevard, which resulted in a man and a woman eluding officers while driving and then on foot before they were captured by a K-9. The pair were both charged with burglary. The man additionally faces charges of attempting to elude, reckless driving and an outstanding warrant.

Officers responded to a domestic call on Southwest Windmill Drive and arrested a woman for a fugitive warrant.

A man on parole for criminal mistreatment was arrested for domestic violence with children present on Southwest Sandpiper Lane.

Monday, May 2

A man was arrested at PetSmart, 12375 S.W. Walker Road, for a domestic disturbance.

An intoxicated juvenile was traveling at a high rate of speed on Southwest New Forest Drive when he hit two joggers pushing a stroller with a 1-year-old inside. Minor injuries for joggers.

Officers conducted a traffic stop near Southwest Allen Boulevard and King Boulevard and arrested the driver on a felony strangulation detainer and possession of fentanyl.

Tuesday, May 3

Officers arrested a woman near Southwest Western Avenue and Fifth Street for DUII (alcoho) and reckless driving.

A man shoplifted from The Home Depot, 4401 S.W. 110th Ave., then fled and hid. He was quickly found by K-9 Atlas and apprehended.

Officers conducted a traffic stop near Southwest 170th Avenue and Blanton Street and arrested the driver for possession of methamphetamine and identity theft.

Wednesday, May 4

A man was arrested for assault and a warrant on Southwest 180th Avenue after he headbutted his wife, giving her a black eye.

Officers assisted the fire investigator on potential arson of a house on Southwest Barcelona Way.

A man showed up at Beaverton Transit Center, 4050 S.W. Lombard Ave., to pick up a friend and crashed into a parked patrol car. He was arrested for DUII (alcohol) and reckless driving.

Thursday, May 5

An unlocked car was entered on Southwest Kiley Way and documents were stolen, including the title to the car.

Officers responding to a disturbance call arrested a man for kidnapping, assault and unlawful use of a weapon on Southwest Cambray Street.
