The Beaverton Police Department describes calls for service from May 31-June 4, 2022.

Tuesday, May 31

Officers made a traffic stop near Southwest Murray Boulevard and Hart Road for reckless driving and arrested the driver for DUII (alcohol).

Officers arrested a man who fell asleep at a traffic light near Northwest Cornell Road and Murray Boulevard on an outstanding warrant.

Wednesday, June 1

A traffic stop near Southwest Hall Boulevard and Nimbus Avenue resulted in the arrest of the driver for a felony warrant and felon in possession of a restricted weapon. The passenger was arrested for possession of drugs.

A welfare check on Southwest 141st Avenue led to a death investigation.

Officers received a call about a man touching himself inappropriately on Southwest 170th Avenue. The man was arrested on eight warrants.

Thursday, June 2

A welfare check on Southwest 149th Place led to a death investigation of a 71-year-old man in his home.

A man and a woman were confronted after stealing $859.63 worth of clothing from a business on Southwest Canyon Road and fleeing. A K-9 officer found both of them. They were arrested for theft and warrants.

Friday, June 3

Officers arrested a man who took money from the cash register from the business on Southwest Farmington Road where he worked to fraudulently buy lottery tickets over a period of several months.

A man was arrested on Southwest Hall Boulevard for exposing himself to patrons and urinating on the window of a hair salon.

Officers arrested a man for assault after he shoved an elderly man on Northwest Walker Road, causing his victim to hit his head on the concrete.

Saturday, June 4

A man was arrested for DUII (alcohol) after he crashed his Tesla Model S near Southwest Hart Road and Hall Boulevard.

A two-vehicle traffic crash on Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway resulted in the arrest of a driver for DUII (alcohol) and reckless driving.

A 79-year-old motorist sideswiped another vehicle, then crashed into the neighbor's yard near Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and Davies Road.
