The Beaverton Police Department describes calls for service from July 6-11, 2022.

Wednesday, July 6

Officers conducted a death investigation on Southwest Normandy Place.

An unwanted man reportedly assaulted a customer in the 11800 block of Southwest Canyon Road. Police found him standing next to the building outside. He was initially uncooperative and resisted arrest before ultimately being taken into custody.

A man was arrested at First Tech Federal Credit Union, 17877 N.E. Evergreen Parkway, after he left a note stating, "Give me $100. This is a robbery, no joke."

Thursday, July 7

Officers conducted a traffic stop for reckless driving on Southwest Murray Boulevard and arrested the driver for DUII.

A woman was arrested after she eluded a traffic stop and crashed the stolen car she was driving near Southwest 141st Avenue and Sixth Street.

Officers discovered a dead woman on Southwest Murray Boulevard during a welfare check.

Friday, July 8

Officers responded to a single vehicle crash on exit ramp 69 on Highway 217 and arrested the driver for DUII (alcohol) and reckless driving.

A woman was arrested and lodged at the jail for DUII (alcohol), reckless driving and hit-and-run near Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and Highway 217.

Saturday, July 9

A woman with 17 aliases was arrested in the 11400 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway while drinking a bottle of wine.

Officers arrested a man in an apartment complex in the 3200 block of Southwest 170th Avenue after he stole items from a porch. He was also in possession of methamphetamine.

A man was arrested for drinking multiple cans of alcoholic beverages in his running car in the 6200 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard.

Sunday, July 10

A man threw a cement paver through his girlfriend's car window while she was in the driver's seat, then grabbed at her phone, ripping her earring off in the process, when she called 911 in the 6400 block of Southwest 124th Avenue.

Officers conducted a death investigation after a man was found dead under a bridge on Southwest 185th Avenue.

A man and a woman stole $700 worth of items from The Home Depot, 13700 N.E. Science Park Drive. After the suspects gave police consent to search their car, officers found heroin, fentanyl, LSD, benzodiazepine and methamphetamine.

Monday, July 11

A man impeded traffic headed eastbound crossing the Southwest Canyon Road to get to the grocery store. When asked for his name and date of birth, the suspect provided multiple answers, all of them untrue. The officer eventually identified the suspect and arrested him for false information, disorderly conduct and a felony warrant.

Officers arrested a man during an impromptu street race near Southwest Millikan Way and Murray Boulevard for reckless driving, reckless endangering disorderly conduct and reckless endangering.
