Shoppers can preorder plants from Sparrowhawk Native Plants starting next week, and pick them up in October.

Customers can visit through Monday, Sept. 12, to order plants that are native to western Oregon. Some 100 species will be available.

"These climate-resilient plants will enhance your garden, allowing it to best support pollinators and wildlife," stated a sale announcement from Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District, which manages the nature center.

Proceeds from the plant sale support improvements and environmental education programs at the Tualatin Hills Nature Park, a 222-acre wildlife reserve at 15655 S.W. Millikan Way in Beaverton.

Plants can be picked up Oct. 21 or Oct. 22 at the Tualatin Hills Nature Park.
