The Beaverton Police Department responds to calls for service from Aug. 30-Sept. 4, 2022.

Tuesday, Aug. 30

A man was arrested for disorderly conduct, theft and multiple warrants after a traffic stop near Southwest Lombard Avenue and Canyon Road.

Officers responded to a single-vehicle crash into a tree near Southwest Hocken Avenue and Jenkins Road. The injured driver was transported to the hospital and arrested for DUII (alcohol) and reckless driving.

A man was arrested for theft, ID theft, possession of methamphetamine and parole violation after officers conducted a bike stop near Southwest Canyon Road and Hall Boulevard.

Wednesday, Aug. 31

Officers arrested a man for DUII (alcohol), DUII (controlled substances) and DUII (marijuana) after he fell asleep at a stoplight near Southwest Canyon Road and Watson Avenue.

A man threatened bakery staff, threw things and screamed after being asked to leave a business in the 11700 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. He resisted arrest and had to be sedated.

Thursday, Sept. 1

Officers arrested a man in the 8700 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard after he intentionally damaged the property because he was refused service.

An 80-year-old man was found dead during a welfare check on Southwest Tierra Del Mar Drive.

Friday, Sept. 2

Officers found a man asleep in the driver's seat of a vehicle with his foot on the brake at a stop sign near Southwest Roxbury Avenue and Walker Road. He was arrested for DUII (alcohol) and reckless driving.

As a woman drove away from her husband on Northwest 178th Avenue, the man grabbed onto the car. He ended up with road rash as a result. Both the husband and wife told officers the incident was accidental.

Saturday, Sept. 3

Officers responded to a report by a neighbor in the 7800 block of Southwest Bristol Court and arrested a man for reckless driving and reckless endangering.

A caller reported a drunk driver near Highway 217 and Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. Officers arrested the driver for DUII (alcohol) and reckless driving.

Sunday, Sept. 4

A welfare check of a man asleep behind the wheel near Highway 217 and Southwest Scholls Ferry Road led to his arrest for DUII (alcohol).

Officers arrested a man after he assaulted his girlfriend in the 16200 block of Northwest Schendel Avenue.

Officers responded to an apartment on Southwest Scholls Ferry Road where a woman with an extensive medical history died with children present.
