Beaverton woman a contestant on ABC's 'The Bachelor'
If you're watching the latest season of ABC's "The Bachelor," then you might see one of your neighbors on screen.
Beaverton resident Abigail Heringer, 25, is vying for Matt James' heart on the dating and relationship reality television series. According to the show's website, Heringer is listed as a client financial manager from Beaverton.
Her biography describes her as a "beautiful soul from the Pacific Northwest who says that nothing makes her happier than enjoying a local microbrew on a beautiful Oregon day."
Heringer made her first appearance on the show on Jan. 4. Once exciting the limo, Heringer confessed to James that she has a hearing impairment.
Heringer's vulnerability was a win in James' eyes, and she received the coveted "first impression rose," which automatically saves a contestant from the first elimination round.
Fans of the popular reality show will get to see the Beaverton resident try and win James' heart on the next episode of "The Bachelor," which airs 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, on ABC.
