Washington Square's newest shop, Selfie WRLD PDX, opened this week, where visitors can pose in the ultimate DIY photography studio.
Selfie WRLD offers dozens of interactive backdrops, sets, props and lighting for photographers to create content for social media, marketing or just plain fun, the company said.
"My job now is to collect cool props like phone booths and motorcycles, and make people feel good, look good, and capture those moments," said Dawn Webster, who owns the Washington Square franchise for Selfie WRLD.
Tickets are required, but once inside, visitors can snap as many photos as they like.
The company was created in Iowa at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and now boasts two dozen locations across the country, after gaining popularity on the social video app TikTok. The Washington Square location is the company's first foray into the Pacific Northwest.
"As a former wardrobe stylist in a family full of talent from make-up, to hair, to photography, it was a no-brainer to join Selfie WRLD in offering unique and fun ways to take photos," Webster said.
Washington Square mall is located at 9585 S.W. Washington Square Road, in Tigard.
