Jesuit's Callan Harrington wins Prep Girl Soccer Player of the Year
Jesuit's Callan Harrington pretty much did it all.
Harrington, a senior forward on the Crusader girls soccer team, finished her career as the greatest scorer in state history and as winner of three straight Class 6A state championships.
In response, Harrington was named Prep Girls Soccer Player of the Year by the Oregon Sports Awards on Thursday, May 21.
Harrington is the Oregon prep record-holder for both boys and girls in career goals, with 133 over her four years. Harrington also set the state record for goals in a season with 55 in 2019.
She was the 2020 Class 6A Player of the Year and a first-team all-state selection. She was also named Metro League Player of the Year and won first-team all-league accolades.
Later, Harrington was selected for the 2019 High School All-American Game presented by Bimbo and adidas, after leading Jesuit High School to a third straight 6A state championship as a senior.
Harrington will attend the University of Washington in the fall.
