The regular season's first and second place finishers take 10 of 12 first team spots.

Jesuit volleyball falls one match short of 6A state titleMetro League postseason volleyball all-star honors are out, and as expected Jesuit and Westview dominated the list of honorees.

The Metro League champions and state runner-up Crusaders put six girls on the first team, while Westview – the league runner-up – garnered four first-teamers. In all, the two teams combined for 10 of the 12 first team selections, while accounting for four of the seven second teamers. Sunset put four honorees on the list, while Mountainside added three, with Aloha and Southridge tallying one apiece.

Jesuit outside hitter Tess Masingale was voted league Player of the Year, while Crusaders coach Teresa Zimmerlee and Westview's Janell Brandt earned Co-Coach of the Year honors.

Jesuit went undefeated and never dropped a set in league play, and defeated Tualatin, West Salem, Sprague and Bend in the state playoffs before falling to West Linn in the state final.

Westview finished 22-6 overall and defeated Century in the state playoffs' first round before losing to Oregon City in the second round.
