Ross shared Offensive Player of the Year honors with Lake Oswego's Jack Layne.Following a season that saw four of the league's six teams make it to the state quarterfinals, two advance to the semifinals, and one – Tualatin – make it as far as the state final before losing to Central Catholic, the Three Rivers League recently announced its football all-stars and to no surprise the runner-up Timberwolves led the way.

Tualatin took 22 overall positions, including 12 first teamers.

West Linn put 11 players on the first team, while Lake Oswego put 10, followed closely by Lakeridge with eight first team selections.

Tualatin's Lucas Edwards and Austin Leykam were the Offensive Linemen of the Year.

Lakeridge's Zac Waible and Earl Ingle were the Defensive Players of the Year.

Lake Oswego's Gavin McGuire and Lakeridge's Nui Tovey were the Defensive Linemen of the Year.

And Tualatin's Dan Lever was the Coach of the Year, leading his team to a 12-2 overall record and second place finish in the state.

Running back Malik Ross highlighted the Timberwolves' honorees, earning Offensive Player of the Year honors with Lake Oswego's Jack Layne, while also earning first team honors as both a running back and defensive back.

Ross tore-up opposing defenses, rushing for 1,688 yards and 24 touchdowns, averaging a little more than 120 yards a game. The senior was also third on his team in tackles, tallying 90 while adding two sacks and three interceptions.

Joining Ross on the first team were offensive linemen Edwards and Charlie Freadman, defensive lineman Brandon Chin, linebackers Kellen Hale and Brayden Michael, quarterback Jackson Jones, and receiver and defensive back Cole Prusia.

Prusia was a menace on both sides of the ball, catching 48 balls for 763 yards and eight touchdowns, while totaling 27 tackles with a sack and three interceptions.

Jones – despite missing two games due to injury – completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,221 yards, while throwing 22 touchdowns to just eight interceptions.

Tualatin second team selections included: receiver Peter Burke, tight end Richie Anderson, center Jake Helton, offensive lineman Brandon Chin, kicker Dominic Borges, defensive linemen Richie Anderson and C.J. Hazelett, defensive backs A.J. Noland and Jack Wagner, the latter of which was also honored on the second team as a punter.

Tigard, after finishing 3-7 overall and losing in the first round of the state playoffs to Roseburg, earned 10 honors overall, placing nine on the second team and one, defensive lineman Elijah Jackman, on the first team.

Tigard second team honorees included: Vaughn Croxton at both fullback and linebacker, running back Konner Grant, center Manny Wilder, offensive linemen Reese Hare and Matt Studer, linebackers Austin Goetz and Henry Masters, and defensive back Kellen Jolley.

Grant led the team in rushing, gaining 889 yards and scoring 10 touchdowns on 169 carries.

Jackman tallied 45 tackles in just 10 games for the Tigers, and notched two sacks and a fumble recovery.
