Tualatin Valley Garden Club cancels plant sale due to COVID-19
The Tualatin Valley Garden Club is canceling its annual plant sale due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The sale was originally set for Saturday, April 25, at the Washington County Fair Complex in Hillsboro. According to organizers, the annual event usually features a wide selection of vegetables available for home gardens.
People could purchase landscape plants, such as perennials, shrubs, small trees, natives and rhododendrons. The annual sale also features garden-related materials, tools, books and specialty plants.
The club hopes to resume the event as usual next year.
