Your Dental Visit During COVID-19
My 9-year-old son asked me a few weeks ago, "Dada, how long have the other quaratines lasted?" I had to explain to him that the last time something like this happened was over 100 years ago and we are part of history in the making. Safety is a number one concern at our office, 90% of we are doing now is the same as prior to COVID-19. We thank you, in advance, for your patience as we resume regular patient care.
Our office has made some changes following the latest dynamically changing ADA, CDC, OSHA, and scientific infection control guidelines. You will notice some physical changes to the office, masks, face shields, gowns, magazines and toys have been removed from the lobby. Each room has a dedicated HEPA and UVC air purifier and fans to remove aerosols during and between patient care.
Per CDC guidelines, we ask that you wear a mask to minimize the chances of possible transmission between patients. In the lobby please seat yourself practicing social distancing. We will have you fill out a screening questionnaire, check your blood pressure, temperature, and pulse/oximetry. We will escort you back. review your paperwork, have use a mild hydrogen peroxide mouth rinse per ADA guidelines and an alcohol hand rub, and then you can remove your mask so we can perform your dental treatment
If you have any family members, co-workers, or friends that require dental treatment and don't have a regular dentist they see, we help can them too. Please don't delay calling if you have dental issues or questions call 503-266-2705.
