Summer Is Here!
Swim Suits, Barbeques, Camping & fun summer activities are upon us once again.
Did you stick to your fitness plan this winter? Did you eat right?
Did you lose the 10lbs you resolved to lose?
How do you stay focused all year and not allow yourself to fall back into those bad habits?
Nutrition is a key factor to feeling good & having the
energy to exercise. The best advice we can give is to eat
REAL food, not packaged, not frozen & definitely not
fast food. The American population has stopped
cooking and preparing our own meals over the last 30
years, that fact has developed a real problem with Obesity
& Disease that can only be fixed by removing chemicals,
preservatives, hormones and additives from our diets. So
much of the EASY foods we buy are addictive.
Now let's talk exercise.... Vary what you do, walk or run,
lift weights, hike, swim, bike, work in the garden, take up a
sport! It needs to be intentional & EVERY DAY! Aim for a
minimum of 10-15K steps each day. Your heart needs to work to be strong and maintain a functional metabolism, your muscles are the best burner of "fat", but they must WORK to BURN! Fire them up!
