New face joins PMG
Anne Barry Lever, an Adult Nurse Practitioner, joined Pacific Medical Group of Canby in September 2017.
She has more than 30 years of medical experience. She received a Master's Degree in science and her Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification from the University of Portland in 1994. She received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from OHSU in 1987 with recognition of high scholarship.
Lever is a longstanding member of Nurse Practitioners of Oregon and has served the organization as chairperson.
She has worked in a variety of healthcare facilities from hospitals to community health clinics, and served Willamette University as a member of their health care staff, taking care of graduate and undergraduate students for 21 years.
Lever grew up on a working cattle ranch in Southern Oregon.
Her father was the town veterinarian. While she enjoyed helping her father on farm calls to treat animals, Lever said she found her true calling in medicine.
"As an adult nurse practitioner, I enjoy helping people get well and collaborating with them to sustain their health. Through meaningful compassionate exchanges, I hope to empower people to make decisions for better health," she said.
Lever lives on a farm and has raised her family in the Canby area for the past 24 years. She enjoys horses and gardening and spending time with family
