The Sunday morning robbery occurred at the TNT Market by a lone male suspect before fleeing

Canby's TNT Market was robbed Sunday Morning about 7 a.m. Canby Police Chief Bret Smith said that a lone individual was observed "kind of hanging around the TNT Market," and eventually made his way inside wearing a dark hoodie with his head covered. The Canby Herald. The suspect, described as a white male with a beard, made a threat to the employee behind the counter and demanded money. No weapon was displayed and the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. "He took off and we got a tracking dog from Beaverton to assist – we made an attempted track and that came up negative," said Smith. The investigation is ongoing and anyone who might have seen anything Sunday morning is asked to call either Detective Sgt. Tim Green or Det. Kyle Krupicka at 503-266-1104.
