Couple plans special Christmas concert in Canby on Dec. 10
The Glory Singers, co-directed by Doug Feller, will perform "Noel," a Christmas concert, on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. at Canby Alliance Church in Canby. His wife and co-director, Beth Donnelly, is also the principal soloist.
They will be accompanied by Cheryl Young on the piano.
"The Glory Singers are excited to perform stirring renditions of popular favorites like 'O, Holy Night', 'Bethlehem Morning', 'Mary Did You Know' and 'White Christmas' as well as cherished Gospel songs including 'The Virgin Mary had a Baby Boy' and 'Jesus What a Wonderful Child,'" Feller said. "This will be a night of beautiful holiday music."
The Glory Singers are recognized for their performances in the Pacific Northwest as well as their international concert tours. They have sung in British Columbia's Frasier Valley and Victoria, B.C. as well as France, Ireland, Spain and Italy -- including at St. Peter's Basilica, and an for outdoor audience with Pope Benedict.
Beth and Doug collaborate in concerts, recordings and workshops, performing classical crossover, romantic original tunes, musical theater, opera and jazz. They have also produced two albums "That's Amore" and "My Heart is for You." Their third album "'Til My Song is Sung" will be released in 2018.
