The annual Christmas Tour of Homes in Canby netted the Friends of the Library a tidy sum

JOHN BAKER - Friends of the Canby Library earned $2,200 from this year's Christmas Tour of Homes.

This year's Christmas Tour of Home, put on by Friends of the Library, was another great success, according to one of its organizers, Kathy Stuar.

More than 120 people visited the five host homes.

"Many people commented on how much they enjoyed seeing the variety of Christmas décor," said Stuart.

Friends of the Library netted $2,220 from the tour. This money will used to help pay for programs offered by the library, which are not funded by the city or the county, and to buy new books for the library.

"We are already making plans for the 2018 Christmas Tour of Homes. Do you know someone who would like their home to be a host home on next year's tour of homes? If so, please call 503-266-5810 or email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.," said Stuart.
