A trio of Canby HIgh equestrian team members come away from regionals with titles

Canby High School's equestrian team finished its season with a flourish, claiming a trio of titles at the Pacific NW Invitational Championship in Moses Lake, Wash., last weekend.

The regional championships featured the top 5 state finishers in Oregon and Washington competing against each other.

Kara Tipikin won the title in driving; Hanna Jacobs won for showmanship, and Maisie Rowley added a title in hunt seat.

Additionally, Olivia Churilla was fourth in individual flags, while the in-hand obstacle relay ream of Jordyn Tietz, Hanna Jacobs, Megan Schweitzer, and Maisie Rowley snagged a third place finish. Other placings came in working pairs where Jacobs and Rowley were fifth and the drill team of Laney Augustus, Addy Crouch, Lauren Iverson, Olivia McKenzie, Jenny Tibbets, Abby Weyer, Katelyn Wing, Rowley, Schweitzer and Tibbetts earned a fourth place finish.
