Canby asking for comments for 4.48 acres for annexation and zone change on North Redwood Street

The Canby Planning Commission and City Council public hearings requests public comment regarding 4.48 acres located at 1268 North Redwood St. currently zoned Clackamas County rural residential farm forest to annex into Canby and change to zone R-2.

In order to incorporate comments into the Planning Staff report, residents are asked to return the comment form by Wednesday, Nov. 14 to get onto the council staff memo by Dec. 10. Written and oral comments also can be submitted up to the Public Council meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2019 or delivered to the council meeting.

The Planning Commission will consider the annexation/zone change and make a recommendation to the city council, which will then vote to accept or reject. The council's decision may be appealed to the Land Use Board of Appeals.

Residents can review documents and the staff report on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Canby Planning Department. The Planning Staff report will be available on Friday, Nov. 16. The City Council staff memo will be available Dec. 12. Or both can be viewed on the city's website HYPERLINK "http://www.canbyoregon.gov" www.canbyoregon.gov.
