Food, Toy Drive in need of volunteers
With the annual food and toy drive at full throttle, the need for volunteers to sort the items is coming quickly.
Organizers have set up a schedule for volunteers to drop by and help in the process, which will be at the Main Pavilion of the Clackamas County Event Center in Canby.
Here's when work parties are needed:
*Saturday, Dec. 8, from noon to 5 p.m.—Warehouse setup; food and toy sorting. Need lots of help.
*Sunday, Dec. 9 (if needed) 1:30 to 5 p.m. or later—Food and toy sorting.
*Monday, Dec. 10, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
*Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
*Wednesday, Dec. 12, 5:30 to 8 p.m.
*Thursday, Dec 13, 5:30 to 8 p.m.
*Friday, Dec. 14 (need volunteers from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) Basket pick-up day. Need greeters, carry out help—mostly Key Club, Builder's Club, and Kiwanians.
*Saturday, Dec. 15, from 7:30 a.m. to noon—Basket delivery and warehouse cleanup --Kiwanians, Key Club, Boy Scouts, and community drivers.
